So my friend gave me this plant yesterday and its about 3 inches tall. he was growing it outside and now im putting it inside. i have a CFL bulb 26 watt (100watt) and thats it for light. i put it in the corner of my closet with a fan ventilating it. it looks healthy as it reaches up for the light. my walls are white but i put some aluminum foil on 3 sides of the plant. the bulb is about 2 inches from the plant. please give me advice. more lights, less? diff kinds of bulbs? whatevers, any advice im willing to take. thank you.

More lights. Get at least two 42w CFL bulbs on that little guy, or if you live in the US, pick up a cheap HPS floodlight (make SURE it's a high pressure sodium) from home depot. They sell 50w ones for about 40$.

I've been interested in those, how well do they work? Have you tried it out kagenical?

Lose the foil too, it will do nothing but cause heat spots on your plant. Dont waste your money on cfl or flood lights just spend the 100$ and get a 400 watt hps. You can pick up a few more cfls for your vegg cycle but throw that 400 watt hps in there to flower and you will be happy!!!

Skate, you'd probably have to order one.

But I'm telling you, if you get it you'll be extremely happy with your grow.

I know alot of people on here would swear by htg supply. I personally have never bought from them though. I lucked out and found a local selling one in a yard sale!
