the light i got from this reptile lamp
would work for growing weed
its sys on it 120 colts 60 herts 350 ma

it's a reptile light, which means it emits UVA and UVB rays, however it is of the wrong spectrum for growing. UVA and UVB rays are good for producing trichomes, but not so good for growing. while your light may grow a plant, it won't even be 10% of the plant that it could be if you were using the proper spectrum. you need either CFL's or a HID lamp to grow proper, decent buds. check out the FAQ section on lighting which will guide you in the proper direction. hope this helps!
