Need help with High humidity control

Hey Guys F4L here.
I posted a few weeks ago in the newbie section about high humidity when lights out in my grow tent. All give you a run down of what ive done and whats going on.
At the moment, im running 2x 1000w led sumraise lights, a carbon filter with 200cfm exhaust fan 6 inch, 6 inch passive intake , a tower oscillating fan and another 16inch fan. Ive got a humidifier controlled to come on at 46% and keep it 47% since im in flower mode. I also have a controller to control heater if it ever got to low but that has not come on since flipp.
So when the lights are on the temp is 28°C on average and humidity set at 47% ,then when the lights go out, the temp lowers to 21°c which is great but the humidity spikes up to 52 -63%.
Im growing in a 2x4x5 tent, in my basement and is set up off the floor with some 2x6's , plywood and 1/2 reflective foam to ciculate air under tent and reduce mold posibilities.

Ive tried more fans in the tent, doesnt work.
Tired more intakes, doesnt work.
Tried a dehumidifier in tent, worked but got way to hot, even after exhausting out the top of tent with a makshift exhaust.( they create lots of heat when working)
Tried to make shift an intake to the dehumidifier outside of the tent, kinda worked and run 24/7.
Tried dehumidifing room but got warm in the room.
Tried laying fans on ground and pointing up to the top of tent, kinda worked, but only with degumidifier outside of tent and big fan inside, but still spiked up.
I beleive once the lights come on, the 4 pc fans that run with the lights helps control the humidity once lights are on.
Pasive intake on the right side of the tent, carbon filter at the top of the left side of the tent, fan laying on floor back side of tent and a big fan on floor under exhaust.
The plants dont seem to be affected by this but im only 15days into flower and they havent made real buds yet, only white haired formations.
Im scared to lose my perfectly manifolded plants to mold onve they start making buds since hum is to high with lights out.

I hope ive mention all the things ive done.
If anyone has any other suggestions on how to keep the himidity, other then having an ac to cool the tent down, it would be greatly appreciated.

Use your heater to keep your temp up during lights out.

The day-night temperature spread you have can increase stretch, which may or may not be a benefit, but your ceiling height is limited.

Also keep your small fans running 24/7.

Hey Geo. Thanks for the reply.
I forgot to mention that all my fans and exhaust fans run 24/7 already. 12/12 light schedule. Ive manifolded my plants for the best reults with 8 colas each plant. 2 plants total inside tent.
All ive read is that a good 5 to 10° difference when lights out is beneficial and acts as fall time where its watn during the day and cools right off at night. Humidity in the basement room fluctuates between 51 to 62% depending on the day.
Thanks again for your reply

I feel your pain! I was thinking of pulling air from an upstairs heat duct to bring in warmer and dryer air.

I have the same tent and same light but just running one of them was burning the plants. I had to make my own hangars for it to get its high enough to be safe. So I put in 2-300w dimmable Viparsectras in today to finish veg then try the 1000w again for flower. I have a 4” inline pulling air from my house a/c into the tent, and 2 6”’fans jnside, one blowing air out top vent. (I haven’t put the filter in yet) and it still stays up at 81-84 with just one light and less equipment than yours. Humidity today between 57-64%. These are nighttime temps, the lights off it’s down in the 75-77 range. It’s been a nightmare out in the garage, it’s going in the air conditioned shop tomorrow. Did you run both of those lights for veg too? Good luck with your grow, look forward to updates on it

Okiegrower, thanks for your reply.
I used one light for about half my veg, then i added a second light because when i manifolded my plants, the black rhino grew vigerously and got big quick, creating shadows for my dinamed cbd plus plant, which grow much slower.
At the moment i have 3 fans in my tent, a 4"exhaust fsn and charcol filter, 2x 6" passive intakes, a heater(which never comes on now) and a humidifier. The dehui is outside my tent and has brought my levels down quite significantly. Basements with conrete floors and walls are famous for humidity. It took a while for it to work but eventualy its down to on average 48%when lights out.
I believe that the small pc fans that run when lights on help control the temps and humidity in the tent. Once off, they dont run and it doesnt move the air anymore. (My own thought and experience)
Ive read that your passive intakes should be abit bigher then your exhaust. You say unhave a fan blowing out the top vent hole??? If you can, id invest in a proper exhaust fan with a controller built in and a charcol filter, this will pull air thru the passive intake(air outside of tent) and bring it thru the tent and up and out the exhaust fan. This will lower your humidity levels significantly, as it has no time to linger around. Also the charcol filter will elevitae the smells(I would vent this outside). It took me a while, but whatever you have outside your tent(temps and humidity) you should beable to get inside your tent with just these 2 pcs.
If you go and check out my grow journal, you will see alllllll the different ways ive tried and custom made pcs to try and rectify the situation.
Im currently happy with where im at.
Also in there are all my photos of the girls too.

Below is a pic i drew of what it looks like. The bottom one is what you want. Passive intake on opposite side of exhaust.

Thanks again. Hope this helps. Cheers

Thank you so much for your reply, the fan at the top was just temporary I’m moving the whole setup indoors today and I’ll install the filter with blower/duct. It’s been such a headache with temps, seeing you with 2 of those lights kinda blew my mind. I’m gonna go through it all today and get it right, but first I’m going to check out your grow info and apply what you’ve already learned with it. Thanks again man I really appreciate the help.

Got everything under control now. Temps at 73-75 and humidity about 55. I was curious what your opinion is now of the Sunraise lights. I have the same one and I have 1 for veg and planned on a 2nd for flower which I can definitely do now with temps handled. But now after researching I’m wondering if I should get something better with more actual wattage draw and par values. I’m on a budget so the Amazon’s are hard to pass up lol. Just curious what your thoughts are after a harvest, if you would buy them again or not

Hapoy to hear okiegrower.
So far im 3 weeks into flower and all seem great. Tbis is my first indoor grow so i have nothing to compare to other thwn other ppls opinions and research. At this point, im happy with the outcome and yes the prices are hard to resist on amazon. Ive got my humidity all zoned in aswell.
Happy growing.
I have pics in my journal as to what they look like now. If it keeps up, i assume they would be quite big.

My apologies, I haven’t really explored rollitup yet, I just joined the other day when I found your post lol. I will figure it out and check out your grow for sure. Ive looked at several lately on grow diaries and get them mixed up. Thanks for letting me pick your brain man I really appreciate it. Now let’s go see what we can get out of these closet tents!
