Need help with germinating seeds

Ok, so here's the thing, I had 4 seeds, 3 from some pretty good dank, 1 from blueberry. The 3 dank seed were small, hard, and mostly dark with speckles, the 1 from blueberry was large and light colored, not quite white. I started germination on Friday at 3 a.m. using the paper towel/ plate method. After the first day I noticed they weren't warm enough, so I set up a make shift rig with a small crock pot half full of water, a plate on top, handtowels on the plate to insulate, the seed plate on that, and a small tupperware container on top like a humidity dome. Last night two cracked slightly and the root was barely coming out, so i thought it was working. Then I got high and forgot to turn off the crock pot for a lil bit and it got pretty hot, not to hot to touch or handle with my hands, but still really warm. I checked on them today and haven't seen any noticable improvment since last night.

Did I kill them? Should I wait and see? Should I just go ahead and plant?
Please, Help!

hmmmm thats a tough one I would wait till the root grows to about half an inch before planting to make sure. are you keeping the seeds in the dark?

Yeah, I got them in a cabinet and I got a bandanna covering it. Should it be taking this long?

Thanx!

you should geta papaer towel and fold it into fours then spray each side real wet. then place the seeds on one side and sprat again. Then fols in half and place in a plastic bag and blow air into it and ;eave it on your windowsill or somewhere warm enougjh. I have a journal of this method if you want to see. I do this method over and over and it works

good luck!

pjboy31 got it right this is the fastest most effective way of germinating your seeds, but it if this does not work just fill a shot glass with good water and throw some seeds in there, cover the shotglass with a dark(lightfree) cup and put in a warm spot, this method works good for hydroponic setups.
