So far I’ve got coco coir..and compost.. perlite.. bone & blood meal.. kelp meal.. epsom salt... dolomite lime..ewc... hi pho bat guano..vermiculite..humic acid.. azomite on the way...what am I forgetting or missing??

I would rather use organic feather meal over any kind of blood meal because its more even released in just the right ratio that cannabis plants like across the entire grow cycle! I also like to use "Colloidal Phosphate", instead of using "Bone Meal & Azomite", as it has everything those other 2 amendments have, plus 30 more trace minerals, including silica, without the unnecessary added nitrogen that all bone meals have.

2 1/2 gallons each of peat, compost or worm castings, perlite/ pumic.

1-cup dolomite lime.

1 1/2 cups of organic all purpose fertilizer (dr earth/ Down to earth/ Espoma).

1-cup kelp meal

4-cups rock dust (azomite/ granite dust).

keep Moist for 3-4 weeks before using. Water only and should take you through flower to harvest.

Yes, you can do it that way, especially for autos. This will take you all the way. You don’t have to add 50 amendments to make a super soil bro. That’s a myth pushed because some well known grower said so.

When you finish this cycle, pull up the roots and compost them, add 1 part compost to 4 part of original soil. What ever the amount in compost, add half that in aeration. Add 1-cup kelp and 1/4 - 1/2 cup organic fertilizer. This is after the grow when you are recycling. With this small amount added, you don’t have to cook it, you can go right into it, but if you add more than a half a cup of organic fertilizer per cubic foot, you’d have to cook it 2 - 4 weeks. It’s that easy, not the rocket science a lot of people make it out to be.

One more thing, if you don‘t have premixed organic fertilizer but have several different amendments on hand, it’s still the same formula. Say you have a box of kelp, neem meal, alfalfa meal and bone meal, all you need to do is mix 1-cup each of neem, alfalfa and bone meal. Then double up on the kelp (2-Cups). Mix all the amendments together then add 2 1/2 - 3-cups total of the amendments that you just mixed, no more per cubic foot of soil (7 1/2 gallons of soil). Save the rest for emergency top dressing or use it to amended your recycled soil after this run.

just as long as you understand what each amendment do, making your own shit from scratch is that damn easy. So stop copying those hard recipes, driving yourself crazy.

@Obepawn ; I’ve made something simple as soil-to be as complicated as hitting the lottery..didn’t realize it was this simple.. at first glanced it seemed expensive... but tired of mixing up nutes...glad you could simplify things for me... thanks man

I’m here to help whom ever I can and I’m here to learn from whom ever I can. No problem bro.

Don’t want to claim the idea so I posted where I got the information. Even though it’s not RIU, the info is legit and has rounded out my understanding of organics.
