need help w/ LST tieng down

what can i use to tie her down? i have twine.. i need some sort of hook though. i need to hold the main stem down and every part there after. any suggestions would be cool.

This question was a bit vague but I am guessing that you want to tie your main stalk down to create more "tops" so to speak. You could use a twig with a small branch growing off it. Cut the branch about an inch from the twig. Then sharpen the other end and shove into your medium. You can then hook your twine to the twig end which should resemble a tent stake. This method works well outdoors as the branch will blend nicely with surrounding growth, A nice shiney hook could very easily alert an eye in the sky should the sun be hitting it just the right way...yesca

if they are small and easy to bend u can use a paper clip or if the plants are bigger then u can try a strong but flexable rod

thanks. nice ingenuity, but i need something that sticks into the soil with a hook on it, or something that sticks into the soil that i can tie too.

i used :

paper clips ( when they were young ) and then switch to coat hangers ( bend them into a hook )

then you can drill holes around the top of your pot, or just tape the hooks that you made in place.
