Need help to set up a small growing system

I am planing to set up a brand new growing system, I can have baby plants from my friend, and I already bought a 4 lamp commercial fluorescent T5HO High bay fixtures, How high I should hang the this fixture my friend use HPS lights, he doesn't have experience on the Fluorescent lights, Does anybody can give me a suggestion? Here is the fixture I have right now:

That fixture should work fine for 2 decent size plants. check out my thread for bulb mixing

OP -- as close to those plants as you can get them, and supplement them with CFLs, or FIM and LST it, so that you're growing horizontal, for maximum light exposure to each node.

You will need a way to raise and lower the lights (or the plants I suppose) as she grows taller. You wants to keep the lights as close the plants as possible. I use spiral cfls are keep them 1-2" from the plants. Sometimes I raise them more than once a day.

Really depends on your grow space and if you can raise and lower the lights efficiently.
