Need Help Rooting Clones in DWC

Hi, I have an Aero Flo unit, and basically it serves as a DWC rooting chamber;
I have a rooting hormone gel, superthrive & a humidifier to substitute the humidity dome.

How high should the water level be at the bottom of the net cups?

I have rockwool, rapid rooters, hydroton stone, and cocoa coir cups. Which of these mediums, or combination thereof would be best for rooting in the bottom of the net cup?

Bump b/c I know people clone in deep water culture all the time. I need advice/recommendations for the rooting medium & the recommended water level at the bottom of the net cups.

When I clone in DWC, I have always used small water containers (making it easy to keep water level high). Depending on your level of water agitation, i.e. how many airstones and pumps you have, I would say about 1 inch from the bottom of the net cup is pretty good. Keep in mind tho, my experience is only with rockwool, straight phd water(and h2o2) and air, that's it. I've never used anything else but have had great results. Check the green link in my sig out... it's a lil bubbler cloner. =)

I recommend using the rapid rooters. Load one netcup with hydroton and the RR but no clone. You can then use it as a monitor. Pull it and open it up anytime to see how wet it is. You can assume the others are the same if you have equal bubble action under all of them. And speaking of bubble action, that is the key. You want lots of little bubbles. When you hold your hand a couple inches above the water level you should be able to feel the bubbles breaking. I'd start with water 1-2 inches below the bottoms of the netpots. Check your blank one for wetness. RRs grab water and hold it so be careful not to get them too wet or you risk stem rot. Do the bubble test with just plain water in the res to get the idea. If you need more bubbles you may need to add a more robust pump, or a second pump not just more airstones. Once you have good bubbles then you adjust wetness with water level.
