I will be installing an additional 4'L x 2'W x 5' 3"T flower room. What would be best light to use? I was thinking 40,000 Lumens of T5 power compacts from HTG.

9 plants max, sog??? most likely 6 topped and untopped though....not sure yet.

Help me with this guys. I have to buy the lights soon.

I would consider a 600W digi.. Seems like ya just cant go wrong with that light. I have a 1000W (over kill for me) and am down sizing to 600's. I would rather go 2 600's for additional space than my single 1000W. I also have an 8bulb T5 that works nicely, but doesn't produce quite as nicely.

I was looking at 400W Digi because I was thinking that the 600W digi would produce too much heat for that small space. I have an old 1000w Mag start in and 8"x8'x9' and that thing has heat problems in the summer. Are the digi's that much cooler?

it boils down to getting the biggest light that you can cool in that small of a space. a cooltube or aircooled hood would be mandatory with a fan exhausting in open air. a portable ac would be another option. if you don't want all that hassle, stick with the t5 but the results would be noticeably different.

I have portable A/C and was going to get the Euro reflector on HTG 400W or 600W Digi. I'm just tired of fighting heat problems with the 1000W Mag.

I'm at the point where I will choose the 600 or 400w Digi but thinking I may go with the 400 because of heat
