Need Help Moving Up

Hi Guys,

Just to let you know where I'm at. Currently have 4 grows under my belt trying 6 strains in total,

Northern lights x 2
Skunk #1 x 4
Jack Herer X 2
Super Skunk, Blueberry and 8 Ball Kush

Old setup.

I have currently been using one of the 1x1x2 grow tents with a 400w Hps blub + refector
There was no need to worry about smell so ventilation was just 2 desktop fans mounted on the roof to try and releave some of the heat that the light was giving off. I had a humidty gauge and temprature sensor and I simply adjusted by zipping or unzipping the door on the tent.

however the time of evolution is upon me!

I have decided to create a "proper" grow room so I thought I would run through a few of my ideas and maybe have a brainstorm because I could really use a little advice from people who have the knowledge.

CONSTRUCTION

So the general idea is basically building the grow room inside another room. so it will have wooden partitioning, insulated with fireproof wool. The outside will be covered in wooden boards and the inside will be covered in plasterboard and I have a friend who can tape it for me. Size is something that worrys me I would like enough space to comfortably grow 12 plants in a 3 x 4 grid but i like to vairy my strains and will always grow from seed so around 1.5 x 2.2m is what i had in mind for floor space.

LIGHTS

Going to go with the 600w Hps. Reasons being HPS has been good to me in the past, only for personal use so no need to go overboard (also i found 400w a bit weak personally). Going to stick with standered reflector also.
When it comes to making the most of your light I do have some mylar wallpaper which i could use but i was going to paint the room white making it easier and nicer to work in should make up for the slight bit of efficiancy I will lost from not using mylar( i Think).

VENTILATION

This is where I really struggle really I have no idea what this room will require in terms of an intake or an exhaust.... this grow room is being built in a stable it has to be quite well sealed to help keep out dust and possibly living stuff so I need to figure out some way of filtering the intake that dosn't need regular maintaince I have an old K/N airfilter that might work tho . If anyone knows a good place to buy fans please leave that below. Now carbon filters.. this is an area that does intrest me, however smell is not really an issue but depending on cost I could be tempted it would only get used now and again i.e. late stages of the grow / Harvest. Can fans be put on a temperature activation system? i.e. they start up at say 31° then shut down once the temperature reaches 20° or after a set amount of time?

I think thats about all I thank you for your time.
