Hi it is my second time growing and my first time growing organic. I was away for three days and when I came back I noticed a pretty bad deficiency or excess. I hope someone can help me in identifying the Problem.

The plant is halfway through week 3 of Flower and as u can see on the pictures I have a pretty bad interveinal chlorosis which started on the newer growth but is slowly extending to the older leaves below.

Before I left everything seemed somewhat fine. The plant just finished the second week of flowering and was stretching just fine with no flower to be seen. Some of the new growth had a slight lime green color which also just might be because its new. In the past few weeks I noticed that all leaves developed yellow leave tips which then turned brown. It just effected the tips and I thought it might be a slight nutrient burn. (I accidentally used pre fertilized soil and added extra amendments).

About the grow:
Strain: Kalini Asia
Week 2 1/2 of Flower - Because of some mistakes in the beginning, which led to stunned growth and some bad timing/planning I left the plant in veg for 9 weeks.
20l (5Gal) Fabric Pot
Starting Medium: 50% Plagron Royal Mix Soil + 30% Old Soil + 20% Worm castings + Greenhouse Feeding BioGrow according to instructions on package.

I am using Green House Feeding BioEnhancer every 2 weeks according to instructions.

I top dressed the plant 3 days before flipping to flower, as follows.

26g biobloom
5g biofeed
10g greensand
6g barley
10g tnc mycorr Max (Endomycorrhizae, Ectomycorrhizae, Trichoderma, Bacillus, Amino Acids, vitamins, trace elements, plant growth hormones)

Then...
Sprayed with microbes
Covered with straw
Sprayed with microbes
Covered with worm casting
Sprayed with microbes
Watered 1l

I had a minor fungus gnat infestation 10 days ago and top dressed some mustard flour.

My steps in identifying the Problem so far:

Checked Plant:

I could find no pests but I found 2 holes on one of the leaves (see picture 1)

Checked Soil:

I installed a Blumat drip system about 2 or 3 weeks ago (2 carrots in a 20l/5Gal Fabric pot) when I checked the soil it was bone dry around the edges of the pot. I adjusted the Blumat and took a bit of soil from different areas of the Pot to measure the PH. The PH was around 6.4.

Checked Reservoir:

I also checked the PH of the water Reservoir and to my surprise it was at 8.2. My Tap Water usually has a PH of 7.2 … hence the suprise.

Checked Enviroment:

Humidity was between 46 and 55 % during the last week. Temperature between 22 and 26 °C (71 - 77 °F). Light was 32 cm (12.6 inch) from canopy.

Any help to save this plant is appreciated :)
Thank you!

I could almost guarantee you have problems at the root zone. Damaged roots = all kinds of different symptoms. 3 weeks into flower its kind of too late to fix a root zone problem. Ideally the veg cycle should be used to develop a strong root system. Root growth is limited in flower stage because most of the plants energy is going towards growing flowers hence the need for strong roots

If you are running A high pressure sodium light I would raise it up up about another 12". After that personally I would double check my hydrology. Very often it appears like a deficiency but it's really just our watering methods.( how much, how often, how heavy, what time) all things to consider.

I got the same thing going on so would like to hear what people got to say I think mine is a magnesium and calcium deficiency cause I left my plants for so long in their 1.5 gallon pots and they ran out of food and now they don’t have any organic nutrients in the new pots cause it hasn’t been broken down yet

There's a real quick way to troubleshoot that with Jack's or a good foliar feed

See those burnt leaf tips? Your media EC is likely too high. Pull a run off test using distilled water and a betcha you're pushing past 1500 ppm. I know there's a belief you can't burn plants with organics, and it's kinda true depending on what angle you choose to look from. This is essentially like burning with bottled nutes, but instead of the over abundance of burnt leaves (that comes later) the first thing that presents is a glowing lime green plant with burnt tips because the osmalarity is out of whack and it's messing up the plants natural Water transfer. If the test confirms it, flush immediately and get the light intensity up to help use what it took in already.

Thank you for all your answers. Since my last post the plant got worse and I had to leave town for another long weekend. I also felt like that I over did it with the nutrients. So in a last effort I flushed the plant thoroughly and then re-amended lightly with vermicompost and some macro nutrients. Unfortunately I did not test the ppm since I had no tool for that. While flushing I noticed that the feeder roots on top had turned from healthy white to brownish. I dialed down the blumat and returned to hand watering.
I am not sure if I simply overwatered or the mustard seed meal had anything to do with killing the roots. However... I think I was able to stop or at least slow down the decay of the plant.
For the next grow I will install the blumat right away so that I have some time to adjust it properly and to give the plant time to recover in case I mess up.

In most instances less is more. We all gotta learn as we go. If you go organic again just dial back on the amendments to 1/3rd of the recipe. You can always top dress but you can’t remove once they’re in there. People post their recipes and swear by it but they went through the same trial and error until they found something that worked and they are also on their 4th-5th back of recycled soil. Things age nicely and they developed a good micro biome by that time. Ease into it and be aware your gonna take a few cycles to get it right.

Thank you for your encouragement. I will definitely stay organic... Its just so much more fun and I am happy to learn :)

You have Boron potassium magnesium deficiency.

Solution: Stop buying worm poop. Stop listening to weed podcasts. Stop shopping on weed website. The people promoting all these organic solutions are in on the joke. Conspiracy is real.. They feed nothing but lime to the worms. It's calcium stew..

Calcium wrecks every single grow under Leds. That's why everyone pushes it. I heard for years "OG is a calcium hog". Then I got a cut. Then I understood the joke.

Get yourself a SIP, watering problems will go away when your gone.
I recently started playing with cap mats and tropf blumat. Get that dialed in with a water only supersoil mix and it's literally cultivation on cruise control. I just reverse the layering so the heavy feed is on top and use a wider than tall pot with a generous break in zone.

This is my post but thank you you've helped me. Even though I've had successful I need to be mindful I don't know all. I don't know even a little bit I know how to plant top. Learning daily through trial and error. Sad when errors come about. I think most of us do this at a passion for the plant though. Devastating when you kill one or injured
