I can not think of a more important purchase then a USB microscope. Every single grower needs one and needs to scan for pests. Broad Mites are very small they are even small with my USB microscope. I am going to get a BETTER one. Also, I missed broad Mites for a while because they are at the TOP of the plants in the SMallest NEW growth. They get into the emerging folds and creases of the baby leaves. They are on the TOP, not the Bottom of the leaves. I cut little pieces of leaves to look for them. IF you have a steady hand and-or a Stand mount etc.. for your new microscope then you could set it up and view the top growth of your Live plants without sacrificing piecves of leaves like i DO!!!

I do have a usb microscope , and if its mites how do i get rd of them ? ?
I apply weekly preventative maintenance of

Azamax
Monterey Garden Insect Spray with Spinosad
Garden Friendly Fungicide
Monterey BT

Azamax is an azadiractin product derived from neem oil. It doesn't kill immediately. It acts as an anti feedant.

Spinosad kills immediately.

Do not apply with lights on. It will fry the plants.

Do not apply after bud formation starts.

If you have an active infestation, apply eveey 3rd day for the first week. Then switch to once per week. Spray all surfaces on plants and soil surface.

So all 4 on a different days right ? And how long to wait between them ?

The Azamax and spinosad are the main ones for mites. Monterey BT is for caterpillars (I grow outdoor). The Southern AG GFF is for mildew/mold.

When I apply, I mix all 4 together at full strength per recommended dosage on package. That's about 1oz/gal into tap water with 1/2 tsp/gal of dawn concentrated dish soap. I also mix in nutes at 1/4 of regular strength to give a foliar feed. My plants seem to like it.
