need help flowering/stretch questions

okay this is my first grow, I'm in a 5x5 with a hydroponics Hut x5 led, and an area 51 SCG 165. I had done as much research as possible prior to growing, but one thing I never knew about was flowering stretch. I'm growing three strains 1 white widow, 2 blackberry, and 2 ice. my problem is this I think I vegetated too long. the BlackBerry is almost 2 feet from the top of the mud. any thoughts on how big she might get? the white widow and ice have flowering times of 8 to 10 weeks, the BlackBerry is 9 to 12 will she get so big show overcrowded the others? my other problem is this, I'm planted in smart pots which right before I switched the light cycle I transplanted, but at the bottom of the smart pots roots are starting to show. will I have to transplant again during flowering? or should I just let him finish off slightly root bound? any suggestions and any advice is greatly appreciated..

Usually it's about the first two weeks of flowering that the plant stretches, and can gain between 50-200% of its current height.
If you haven't flipped and is ~2ft, I would say it'll finish off a little of 3 ft or so. It also varies from strain to strain.
Would love to see some photos of the girls!

Its not that dude your thinking just general light stretch which your answer is correct the lights would be too far away. but I'm talking about when you switch your photoperiod 2 12 hours the plant almost triples in size

White widow are notorious for having a long stretch, not sure about the other two. This can be an issue if you are growing different varieties under one lamp, as one can grow taller than the rest.

What size pots are you using? Personally I would leave them in the pots they are in now and finish them as they are. At least with the LED light you can have it closer than an HID, but there is always the option of bending/supercropping if you need to.

I would love to give you guys some photos but I can't figure out how to upload an attachment from my mobile phone. So you think i shouldnt worry so much about the blackberry getting to big? If it grows 200% Thats a six foot plant! Also does the fact that they are only in 5 gal smart pots matter? Will that limit the blackberry from getting to tall?

I have no experience with bending or super cropping and I am hesitant to use it. so I don't mess up my crop. what you mentioned it exactly my concern one plant getting too large for the rest and over crowding. they are in 5 gallon pots will this minimize the amount that they can actually grow height wise? thank you so much for your help.

the white widow and the ice have a shorter flowering time do you think that they might finish first and then I will have enough room for the BlackBerry because it has a longer flowering time? also when they give the 60 40 ratio stating that want to flip the cycle 40 percent of the growth is done. does that mean that there 60 percent of height left to grow or are they talking about that 60 percent of it is bud formation

60 percent sativa i would think 40 percent indica. (if your talking about what those percentages are they give you)

ww usually takes 9-10 weeks

if you top the tallest one before putting it into flower or within the first or 2nd week of flowering. it should keep it from outgrowing the others.

also i wouldnt worry about xplanting anymore root development isnt that high in flowering and air pots will air prune them keeping them from being rootbound. they will just need more waterings probably.

The way I have to do it, is to scroll to the bottom of the page where it says FULL SITE, and post using that for photos. It's the only way I can really get it to work. but once you're on full site, click the icon that's a photo of a tree, 3 to the right from the emoticon button.

the smarts, like they said are designed to air prune the roots, and I've never heard of anyone having too big of issues with them besides the extra watering from it drying a little quicker than plastic pots.

As as far as your height, you could always let it grow up and see how tall it gets, and just pull it down some with a weight, or string it someplace to lean. I don't think you should see more than 1.5 ft growth. But I have never personally grown that strain, and you could have a sativa dom phenotype.
if you're worried , top it or lst.

Thanks so much for your help, i think really my only option is to top her if she gets too big, cant see sacrificing 4 good girls for some huge colas. Thanks again dude
