hey iv just currently bought a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2 metre tent and a 600w hps and a 400w mh for veg. i currently want to maximise yield under 1 600w. what would be the best way to do this. i was currently finking 15 plants in a scrog but not sure what pot size to use. i will be using 50%coco 50% perlite and using house and garden coco nute range. any input appreciated.
forgot to mention il also be using an large adjustawing reflector..

No need for 15 plants in a scrog. You could do just 1 in a scrog if you wanted, but you will have a longer veg time training it (I would do 4 or 5 in that tent personally).

Think of Air, Light and Water (nutes) being the main things to get right. See anything else you can provide your plants with as a bonus to help wring out the last few grams possible. To maximise yeild you could use airpots or smartpots with coco (no need for perlite either if you use canna coco pro+) and also select a high yeilding 500-600 gram per sqm strain. Looks like you have got the lighting covered but you have not mentioned ventillation (without good ventillation you will not stand a chance of maximum yield)

Get a good carbon filter, watch your heat signature and tell nobody or you might not even get to enjoy 1 crop, let alone being able to carry on.

thanks for the reply iv been looking into it a bit more and am now thinkin of buying the atami wilma 16 pot system. iv bought 2 5 inch tt extractor fans and primair fan controller. also got two 6 inch clip on fans for circulation inside the tent. was thnking about just growing the whole 16 plants and topping each 2 or 3 times until there 12-15 inches then switching to flower. i think il have to prune a lot so it wont get too overcrowded in the tent. do you think this will work ? + rep for last reply

Not sure about topping so many times, I dont know what kind of effect that will have on them. 12-15 inches sounds good though. You going for more of a SOG style grow than scrog?

The only thing I would personally have concerns about is putting a scrog net over a new system that you are not used to using. If you run into any trouble it will be a hard job to get to anything or pull any plants out etc. But otherwise your setup sounds really good. But get that carbon filter your place is going to stink without it!
