So, I took the advice of several people that have written on here in the past and purchased the biggest pump I could afford (an EcoPlus Commercial Air 3). I started using this in a 5 gallon bucket (which is my bubbleponics system that i use(d) for two plants). I WAS using three separate pumps running into this system, all of which were really weak. While I was doing this, everything seemed find and noticed significant root growth (4 days). Yesterday I switched out the pumps and replaced all three with the one EcoPlus Commercial Air 3. By 11am this morning the planty with the roots in the water had completely wilted and fallen over. The other plant was fine, however it's roots were not doused in the water as of yet. I noticed that when I lifted up the lid, instead of it being bubbles on the top of the water it was almost like a freaking Tsunami and had the water flowing 3 inches higher into the bucket in that specific area. Now, like I said I've been told that no pump can be too strong and that as long as the water is errated well, it will not drown the plant. Is it a good assumption that this pump is too strong for ther 5 gallon pump it's in? I took pics of the res so you can see what I'm talking about and here's a link to the pump. Any help would be RAD!
