Need help cooking herb for pills

Normally, I use herb thats been vaporized one or two times then powderize it with an Ultimate Chopper in a few seconds. The powder is packed into size 00 caplets.

Going on a honeymoon soon and need to bake some herb for that period.

My problem at this time is the vaporized herb makes killer pills and my baked herb into pills are much weaker. I've baked the herb three times so far.

Second bake - Broke buds up and baked on tin foil at 220 degrees for 1 hour 10 min.
Medication was smooth, but very weak compared to vaporization process.

Third bake - Broke buds up and baked on tin foil at 220 degrees for 1 hour 20 min.
Medication was a little stronger, but still far from right.

Anyone knowing how to help would be much appreciated!

If you are using herb that you already vaporized, you probably do not need to heat it, it should be decarbed already. Normally 240°F for 20-25 minutes is enough to decarb. If you vaped the herb, it was exposed to nearly 400° to vaporize the THC which needs ~387°F to vaporize.

Thanks for the information. I use the herb that's been vaporized once o twice by just grinding to powder and fill up caplets. Getting enough for a long trip is hard as I don't vaporize very much for personal use...

Yesterday I tried putting in over at 225 for 30 minutes - That worked, but it still seems way too weak. I'll try your settings tomorrow. Today I'm trying a new way to eat it using Top Ramen Chile flavor!

Not quite sure how much thc is left after vaping. If any, your vaping wrong.

Anyways, I've been using skunkfarms decarb tek for 4+ yrs now with excellent results. 293* for 8 mins in a sealed bowl.
