I harvested my cookies kush and snipped a small bud off the bottom to clone so i can continue growing the strain i added rootech cloning gel in a rockwool cube put it in a parfe cup with a dome on it and set it in the window after a few days it came to my attention she seeded out which is better im thinking but question is should i leave the dome on or off? Will mildew happen with the bud and moisture if left on? And it looks like it is dieing will it have enough energy to produce the seeds ? And will it clone begin forming roots or finish seeding out and die?

Doesn't look like that's going to grow.
I just want the seeds so my deal is how can i keep that alive till seeds mature with dome on or off? And will the plant try to root or finish seeding i opened a pod yesterday to see if seeds were there and sure enough a seed was

It looks dead to me. If there is a possibility that it is viable, then you need to keep it covered until roots develop.

Its dead...the rot kinda gives it away. In order to supply any plant with enough nutrients you need to have a viable uptake of nutrients. Now had you placed it in a fogger system you may have had better results but you have virtually no stem, which you would need in order to create enough surface area for water and nutrients to be absorbed.

Give it a go tho...I've been wrong before and I hope Im wrong this time too.

That said, if you get seed from that bud, I'll finger my granny :) :)

I don't think that is looking so hot. Cloning is usually better done before the plant is flowering. At this point the plant has been investing all of its energy in flower production, and now you are trying to get it to suddenly change gears and produce roots. The plants have an easier time doing that from the veg cycle where they are already working to produce more plant structure.
