Need help choosing a chiller

Hey all

I've recently decided to purchase a chiller early in the vegetation stage, due to my resistant high ass rez temps. (high 80's). I've done alot of preventative measures the last few days, adding frozen water bottles 2x daily, installing a computer fan to suck heat from the rez. Enough is enough and I've spent too much money so far to lose my plants to root rot. Now down to business..what would be the best chiller to get to cool my 32 gallon rez? (i only use about 9 gallons of water/nute solution)

Here's what I've found so far but I am looking for a cheaper option:

do I need to purchse a seperate pump for this bad boy? I'm not sure how to hook up a chiller even, so info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :bigjoint:

I was having the same problem with my rez. I solved it by moving my air pump for my rez out of the grow room. I have it in an area just out side, that stays about 62 degrees and pump it into the rez. It keeps my water at about 70 though out the day. I have a chiller and i don't use it. And Yes chillers require thier own pump. Good luck.........

I bought a Neslab RTE-220 which is a water chiller and heater and has a pump built into it. These are made for labratory's but it works fine for me. I got it used for 195(shipping included) off ebay.
