Purchasing my first grow tent. Can anyone out there recommend a quality tent and .Say between $200 and $300.
I only grow about max 2 plants.400 watts.
So many mixed reviews on Amazon.
Thanks!

For just 2 plants I recommend something similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Lighthouse-Hydro-Hydroponics-Grow-60-Inch/dp/B00725XBMK/ref=pd_sbs_lg_1. I have the 2' x 4' x 7' version for 3 plants (Flower) and it's right what I need for ~500W of LED. Construction is solid, very little light leak (zipper only, but they have a flap to cover it), blocks the sound of my inline fan pretty well, and it was literally a 10 minute setup time. I would spend ~$125 on this, and ~$125 on a 4" 200CFM Inline fan + 18" carbon filter combo. Leaves you $50 to buy a temp/rh gauge, some ph testing supplies, and a timer/power strip for all under your $300 budget.

GL!

I sound like a broken record because this is my third post on the subject (I think the company should hire me!!). Anyway, my tent was only $100, it is perfect for my use (32" sq x 5' H), and it has a thicker canvas than most grow tents. The company I got it from also sells them on ebay, so check there before you buy direct, it may be cheaper:

(DISCLAIMER: No, I do NOT work for them, I swear! Grow tents just seem to be a hot topic today and I can only go by my experience. I am very pleased with my tent from this company. Good price, good quality, and I think even the shipping was free!)

I would save say 200-250 dollars and buy some panda film and some 1x2s and build my own tent. personally I like something a little more permanent but if you need something easily removed stick frame with panda film is cheap and effective a 2.5 ft wide room 8 ft tall with a 400w hps= good stuff

With your 400 you could add a few floros/cfls and have a very nice perpetual going:

I have one but do not use it stacked. Rather I cut a hole in the bottom tent and set the hood roof top. I just raise the plants to the light and lower as they grow. The top portion sets on a table and is used as a seed starting/first few weeks of veg kinda thing. I think it would fill your needs nicely.
