First a little background on my situation ---- last summer I made the mistake of trusting my dad an renting from him, pretty good deal 400 a month for 10acres, a house that's 3 beds, full basement 2 separate 2 stall garages. Fast forward to last week, we got into an argument about the way the plumbing inthe house was suppose to get redone an he came over with an eviction notice!! I have to be out by 8/12/12. Which I'm pissed about because now I have to find a new home that has the amount of space I need inside and out in less than a month. I also have 6 ladies outside in a greenhouse planted directly into the ground.

My question to you is --- Do You Think it's to late to dig them up an throw em in 20 gal pots? Theyve been in the ground since June 1st, An are about 5' tall 5' wide.

I wouldn't touch those ladies in the ground. I mean you could and just severly put them under stress and deal with what the plant puts off if they are going to be a total loss anywayz. And that sounds like a real shitty spot to be in. I'd hope that shit would smooth out and you could stay. Maybe its just him playing his cards!? Hang Loose and keep talking to your old man and ya never know. By 8-12 you could be invited to stay.

Raise your own rent market price, agree to adjust the plumbing at your expense and seek help from close neutral party to facilatate reconciliation... At least get an extension to finish GH into early fall. You BOTH should look at bigger pic..

There's no working it out, I'm Gunna take it to court since he doesn't have a good reason to evict me besides he's pissed. I've tried Calling him, going over there an he won't even answer the door so fuck him I'm Gunna get some pots before Friday an dig them up. Worse case they die which would suck but if I don't do something they'll have to get chopped anyway. I just wish I had somewhere to finish them. This is my 5th year in a row outdoor that I prolly won't get shit, the last 4 I've been jacked everytime. I just can't catch a break.

What was the plumbing problem?
All this over copper versus plastic?
How long you lived there?

Reason I ask is it sounds like he wants to teach you a lesson.
He was giving you great deal from sounds of it.
Hope you can get the relationship restored without further grief.

My stepdad pulled some shit on me like that. I never will do business with family again. Lesson learned about greed and family.

Exactly a year this month, he wanted to go the cheap route an cut some corners on the plumbing an I wasn't down since I was the one who has to pay for it. I don't half ass anything I do it right the first time. I will never do business with family again.

I didnt want to do this but, if somebody can take my ladies for the remainder of the season an they live I'll make it seriously worth their while. I have checked with my local growing circle an nobody has the room. Pm me if your interested

Good luck mr CnC... maybe don't do anything drastic until you first try a mediator. Emotions can really F up negotiations. You guys will get passed this so why not settle now not later.

This is not making sense; please explain.

You were renting ten acres, a house, and some outbuildings, for 4 bills a month.
If you have to pay for plumbing then Dad's cheap route would save you money if you 'have to pay for it'.

Do you really expect someone to take your problem plants and grow them out for you?
That's unheard of man.

You just don't want to try suing Dad - it is akin to nuclear war - no one wins.
Right now you are desperate to save what you have left because you fought with him over something stupid.
It's time to cut your losses.

I don't care about saving money like some of the cheap assholes on here. I'm simply done with family business, if this is making Sense quit reading it. I'm not about going the cheap route, I'm going the correct route. & as far as someone taking my ladies I have someone lined up, so it's not unheard of or whatever you said.

Check landlord tenant law. He can't, by law, evict you in that short of a time period.

It takes months to legally evict someone .... at which point your ladies will be done.

Yep. You can buy another month or two in court.
I have family I can deal with, and fuckers I can't.
People can say life is too short, work it out,
but it can also be argued that life is too short to deal with fuckers you can't deal with.

Whats the grounds for eviction? If you have any kind of lease you can fight it and drag it out. a straight up eviction for not paying rent takes much longer then 30 days and EVEN LONGER should the party being evicted pay up on the bills, then the process starts again after next non payment. Just sayin if it was a rentor with a lease there would be no quick way to get them out-been on the other side of that one trust me you can monkey in court and shit a LONG while and really give him the redass and get your plants done.
