Need help asap! Hood blew!

what do i do? my hood shorted out, the ballast still works, and i cannot get another one until tomorrow. im growing 12 pandora paradise and they are on day 16.. will they be okay until tomorrow? (they had no light today!!
 
maybe put some kind of light, what did you veg with? i night shoulnd disturb the photosynthisis too bad. ooh i read it again your not flowereing. again i would put a lamp or anything on them and you should be fine. sometimes the sun dont shine.
 
i day will not hurt them at all if ya really want to and can stick a cfl or two in or open a curtain if its possible for you to do so
 
What exactly do you mean?
A short at the hood would have most likely eaten the ballast or started a fire, but lets say for argument sake that it just burned up one wire, should be a very simply rewire job.

yeah the hood shorted ????????? the only part that can short out is the ballast mabe its just your bulb or socket

I switched hoods and kept bulb, bulb works, ballast sounds like its working, new hood has ballast in it... Idk, hope it didn't hurt plants.. Lights were off for roughly 30 hours
 
i left lights off for 4 days once when they were like 25 days into flower. it was during a blackout, the whole city and half the state was dark. i think i was more stressed about it than the plants.
