I can't see your pictures, so it's hard to say. Yellowing leaves at the bottom can be a nitrogen deficency, it can also mean that the pot size you are using is too small and you need to transplant to a larger pot size. I would guess you are probably root bound at a month old. What size container are you in? What nutrients are you feeding it? what is the PH you water at? What is the room temp? There is a lot to learn about growing, but it does get easier.

If I were you, I would transplant into at least a 3 gallon container and start with that. I use 5 gallon cantainers for my moms and 3 gallons for my clones when they are big enough to start to flower. Good luck. Oh make sure that they are getting enough sun light too. In the window is okay if they get enough light.

more lights!!!!!!! fill in the voids with cfls. i am using an indrustrial type where it comes with an aluminum reflector and its like a clamp so i can clamp it anywhere then for bulbs i have 23 watts and it works great. as the plant grows you can move the light more easily good system

compact flourescent lights about 12 dollars for 4 of them at walmart. research cfl articles and determine what wattage you use. theres everything you need to know. dont forget to look for a light spectrum so you understand what kelvins mean. they are excellent lights and they dont affect the light bill for me

put a fan on it too the fan will help strengthen the stalk and defcon was right you need a larger pot. advice for future grow almost all of us here use a big enough pot from start to finish so no transplanting is needed

okay, also i can get hold of a small Ultraviolet light, is it worth putting that in there also?

as well as the fan, and bigger pot?

Actually, does it look un healthy? and i have seen many pictures younger than mine and the have way more leaves why is this?

most of the amount of leaves you see are genetics. your plant looks healthy as it can be. get the light about 2 inches from the plant it will keep it from stretching..considering you have the lights on the plant and you control the environment so there a good chance the plant is gonna grow like crazy now. i start my plants outside and finish them inside. and everytime i introduce them to the lights they take off. if you get the cfls with the tube light you have already you probably wont need anymore lights. ive never researched those kind of lights so check into it and see what the benefits are.

Okay, well ive just been out for around 3 hours, come back checked on my plant, and the leaves are standing up. so im guessing its enjoying the light XD im going to lower it to stop it stretching like you said, and soon as possible i will re-pot it into a 3 L pot, please can you tell me what nutirants i can use? perhaps mirical grow? or baby bio. bear in mind these are english plant food. and you may not be aware of them.

thanks

I use DNF nutrients. (Dutch Nutrient Formula) I use the 2 part mix. For me to get one bottle (500ml) of Part A and one of Part B for both Veg and bloom formulas (4 bottles total) I paid $24 CDN so like £10. nice and cheap and work great for me. you don't need anything crazy to start. Stay cheap and low budget as much as you can until you figure stuff out. Other than the cfls, if you can get your hands on the T5 high out put lamps they work good too. I use only T5HO in my garden with great results. I have to worry about heat so I can't go to the Full hid systems. I want to switch to the Ufo system LED but I can't afford that right now. Check out Sunblaster just google it, there you will see the high output T5s. If you want cheap and good cfls were great advise. The more light you can get the better. Just aim for around 6500k for veg and arounf 2700K for flowering. If you are going to use only cfls and what you have get as many as you can fit as they are no where near as strong as what else is out there. they will work just not as good, in other words you will not get as much as you can when you harvest.

Just get any Veg nutrients from your local hydroponics shop. If they ask you what you are growing just tell them that you are growing tomatoes, they are the closest thing to what we grow. If they ask what kind well make something up...no sorry just know a few varities. Beefeater, I have starfires, there are heirloom.

Good luck.
