I've decided to take a shot at doing an autflower grow in a pc grow case....but have a few questions that i need some insight on. First off, i have a well-built pc grow case (pictures will be up shortly) that meets all mandatory growing measures, but there's a few things i am uncertain of. I would ideally like to do 2 plants at a time, but am unsure if this is feasible or possible. I know the size of the plant depends on many things, but has a great deal of of an impact on the size of the pot it's grown in. I was wondering if it would be better to do a large plastic container, filling most of, if not all of the bottom space of the grow case or do 2 smaller pots consuming most of the bottom area? I recently puschased 2 different types of autoflowering seeds from Nirvana seeds bank (Blue Mystic and Bubbleliscious). I would like to grow both at the same time, to try both out, but don't know what would be better. I should add that i'm looking for quality over quantity, but it would be nice to have the best of "both" worlds if you know what i mean ha.
Basically im running 2 computer fans, a larger intake than my out take, and have a 4" oscillating fan inside sitting on the bottom. I will be using FoxFarm Ocean Forrest potting soil mixed w/ 1/3 part pearlite. I will be using the Trio foxfarm nute set (Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom) for nutrients. Florakleen will be used for flushing periods. There are 3 26w 2700k flourescents and 3 26w 6500k flourescent bulbs (4 are used at a time). My second question, is what lights should be used during the life cycle and when and/or if they need to be changed at all?
Lastly, if i am constrained to grow only one of the 2 strains, which would you recommend, based off personal experience? I've heard great things about bot, but also some cons. I tended to read more positive attributes associated with Blue Mystic, as well as more frequency in search results when reading further up on the starin.
