Need Heating advise

I use a nice 12K BTU portable A/C unit for the summer and now am realizing I need a heater for the winter.

What is a good, safe portable heater that I can use ans what are some good things to look for in a quality heater.

My room is 8'x8'x9'

run your lights at night or get one of those heaters that pushes hot air. avoid the heaters that make light. and cover the little red light on the heater/

I am running the lights at night now but it is a logistical issue. I want to be able to take care of the plants during the day. Please, anymore input from anyone would be appreciated.

i've used an oscillating heater before to keep temps. up. get a ceramic heater, it doesn't light up. also, make sure your containers aren't on cold surfaces like concrete. cold roots will stop a grow dead in it's tracks.
