Need fast advice!!! Please!!!

Dont place them close to the roots just to have them close to the roots. If you mean, thats where they are goin to be, in order to get light UNDER the canopy, ya should be fine, just mind yer temps, make sure they arent in clear containers, and point the light UP, towards the plants.
As far as how many and what kind. . .I would suggest about 12 over them for yer veg, and up it to 20 strategically placed throughout fer flower. Seeing how you want to use the same lights for both, a lot of ppl will tell you not to do this, but look @ MY grow! Use the 23W CFL's. They are 2700Kelvins, w/1600Lumens. They are PERFECT fer both, or else you have to use two separate types fer veg and flower.

so u say 12 over the plants??? since im growing 6 plants im imagining 2 directly over 1 plant?? and wich kind of cfl shud i put over the plants?? the 42 watt? or 23 watT??? and between the plants wich kind shud i use??? the 23 watt??? or 42 watt??? and one last question... does it matter if its cool white or warm white?? please answer! i appreciate it alot!

Look at the Kelvin rating on the lights. Thats all I paid attention to! The 2700K (which I know the 23W are), can be used fer both veg and flower. A lot of ppl say to veg w/6500K,and to flower w/2700K. The closer to 5000K you are, there better the light is all around, I believe.

I have some42 watt = 150 watt cfl's and all it says on the box is 2700 lumens

It should also list the Kelvins. Is that wat it said? Cause 2700 Lumens sounds decent fer a CFL.

nope it says 2700 lumens.
It doesnt say nothing about kelvins on the boxx

Hope ya appreciate this, I dont usually do research fer pppl wen its this simple, but. . .I found out that yer lights are 5100K. Ya shud be good fer veg. I wud go w/the 23W bulbs (well placed), fer yer flower!

any one else have any input on my grow plan??
5 white widow plants in my closet.. i have 42 watt cfl's = 150 watt... how many of these light bulbs do i need for 1 plant?? i want to put them directly over each plant.. and also im thinking of putting little cfl's around the plant so the plant can get more light around the whole plant... but yeah im super high right now so my bad for the essay... all i wanna know is how many 42 watt cfls do i need per plant?? each of the 42 watt cfl's have 2700 lumens... hope that helps..
any advice is greatly appreciated!!!
