So i have 2 plants ive been taking care of that i planted from seed. Not sure what they will be as i found them in a sack one day. Well i started them off with 2, 13 watt (70watt replacement) LED bulbs from walmart. I understand this is not enough for 2 plants, so i need help deciding what i can use. I want them to get pretty tall, atleast 5 maybe 6 feet. I still want to use LEDs.... Help

6' tall plants with led is hard. It's hard with hid unless you have a ton of space. 1000 watt hps will give you the penetration for tall plants like that. A 600 won't do 5 feet into the canopy. Three tops if you have a open canopy. LEDs at best do what a 600 hps will ime. I get about 2 with mine.
I'm running 100 watts in one fixture with 4 X Cree cxa3070s and the other fixture has 60 X 5 watt diodes with 90^ lenses.

Space is not an issue. So 1000 watt hps? Were can i vuy one and what are my chances of getting caught from heat?

2 X 5' plants will take up a lot of space. And probably like outdoor. 0.5-3lbs per plant depending on strain at that height. This one gave me 1.5lbs this summer and another about this size did 1.1lbs .

Trust me I am throwing my HP's away for led .
So much waste. And inferior quality
+ my mate was busted from heatsignitures off HP's and not by cops. Damn kid gangsters with a heat meter saw it glowing the side wall of the house...

3590 led u efficient and quality and safe

I am using an LED & its great as far as solving your heat issue, but like the other folks said it isn't gna be conducive for growing 6ft plants.... Might want to add sum supplemental lighting. GL

Most are or will be changing to them if u look here u see most are dropping HPs
To take led and outperforming them.

Go led u will never look back never never ur money Will be back on 1 grow
I work what I'm buying out to $2 per gram cost cost of led ÷ yield grams =$2 or less a gram
And the saving just began

Read here watch bids but defo hit LEDs 3590 100%

Hps not worth the hassle I used to run biiig hps systems 12x600 and loads 400 now I been run in smaller 1800 and 600 .
I did blurple LEDs and was impressed . these white LEDs 3590 nok the socks off it all
NASA uses them for plants
Also most university's aren't researching hps anymore its all led

Led is the future bro xD I feel like a sales market advert now hahaha

As for 6ft plants I wanted that , and tho better to stay small and even less chance of rot and less lower waste .I grow led trees and most I see here with growmau5 etc I'd say are worthy of trees
