Hate to say it, but if the plants were actually fed vinegar, I think they're toast. I'm only a 5 yr grower so don't take my word for it. Hopefully others will comment.

Fuck sake man you can't be serious? You let your brother feed them vinegar??? They are done for. Totally dead. it's impossible to revive those things now. You need to start all over again!

Idk.... flush with just water and see if they will bounceback?
How much vinegar did he feed?
I've used vinegar but only a little added to the water.

Please tell me these still have life my dumbass brother was feeding them vinegar
The plants will almost certainly not recover. If they do, there will likely be significant genetic damage; they are not worth keeping.

Start over, and stop feeding nonsensical liquids to the plants.

I had a vinegar mix leftover in my spray bottle, and scrubbing it out with hot water and dish soap just left the faintest hint of a soapy/vinegar smell. My plants have been enjoying their foliar sprays, so I don't think a small amount hurts. It's likely beneficial against pests.

I know that you use dish soap to treat fleas on pets - the soap allows the water to penetrate the fleas and eggs because of some science wizardry I'm too baked to remember correctly. It basically drowns them through their skin-equivalent, if I understood it right.

I wonder if half a drop in the spray bottle would do anything to help/hurt the stomata.

You should put vinegar in every meal and beverage of your brother's that you can get to for the foreseeable future.

Some people do use vinegar as a pH down but it only takes a little. It looks like those were fed straight vinegar. I'd trash them.
