If you couldnt have guessed it already im new to growing. my current setup is a 2' t8 flourescent with 2 17w bulbs, one bright white, the other cool white. space is 2'x1.5'x3'. just planted seed today. will the lighting be enough to sprout the seed and how long could i make do with it?

hey im new to growing as well but this site hase many members n threads that guide you well if your willing to read. but i used 4x t5 lighting from 18 hr on for bout a 1.5 -2 months then switched to 400wmh and on 12/12 now and they r doing killer no problems. i guess you could veg for as long as you want. makes good mothers remember the longer you veg the bigger they grow :)

you can get away with that lighting but you will have airy buds that have no weight.you need more light.if you think you have enough then add more! you need more space also.your going to have to lst and top the hell outa your plants so read ALOT on this site and soak up more knowledge before attempting to grow would be my best advice

as many as can fit and as many as temp will allow
it is near impossible to have too much light from cfl

I am still on my first grow, but sprouted a seed from some random dispensary smoke under my 2' 4 lamp t5. Kept the light more or less touching the plant and it vegged like a beast. When you flower though, as stated before, you will want more light for the little lady.

Your luck is better than mine:-(
I had 2 leafs grow up into the bulbs just last week, and burn 2 tips.
what do you got to cool the light i got a fan on both sides one blows cool air on the bulbs the other is just room air bulbs feel pretty much cool to the touch but yeah if your bulbs arent cooled good dont let them get so close lol cuz you may come home to a black baby
