well 2 weeks into my G.H. hydro grow i gave up on my grow becuase i am just starting school where they drug test and if word got out about my setup i would get expelled!! and i am worried about my power bill going thru the roof and the water i have easy access to has about 55 ppm from the tap, and the ph was about 7.0 if not higher- which lead to the plants turning yellow on the tips and stunting there grow when i used ph down, the strange thing was one of the 2 plants (bagseed) had like three layers or sprouts where the leaves and branchs would have grown from but it was only an inch tall. another problem i was having with my setup was a clear, slippery, algea formed on the rockwool and all around my grow medium and in the buckets.
i def. want to grow some bud, but later on when im more comfortable money wise for the power bill and when i can get some dank feminized seeds online, but for now the project is on hold, but can you guys give me some advice on the problems i was having? i would show pics but i have no camera, thanks
