Need a Single-Outlet Temperature & Humidity Controller

I need to find an inexpensive controller that will activate a single outlet if the humidity OR temperature is too high. This outlet will be hooked up to a fan.

It seems crazy that the only controllers I've found with this functionality are $400+ full room environmental controllers like Spartan. All the Inkbird Controllers, even the 608T which has both temp and humidity probes can only be programmed to activate 1 outlet for temp issues and the other for humidity. AC Infinity makes a controller & fan combo, but I need an outlet since I'll activate the same 2-3 fans when temp OR humidity gets too high. I'm only growing in a 4x4 tent so it isn't practical to put in a dehumidifier and A/C when I can just pull in cooler and dryer air from outside the tent.

theres also controllers for sale on wegrowbuds USA. and they allow you to use sezzle...break up your payments into 4 with 0 interest. i got some trolmaster contollers from them. temp, humidity, and fan speed. received in about a week.

Come to think of it, if fan speed isn't a issue you can buy a rh/temp relay for £10 but it is only on/off.

In the real world you can't really control rh and temps with a fan at the same time, if you set a given temperature then you have to accept the rh% that comes with it or put in a dehumidifier, if you set a given humidity you also need to accept the temperature that comes with that or get a heater,, one directly affects the other so you can't really choose 50% with 20 or 25c unless you have heaters and a dehumidifier connected!

To clarify, you want to control a single exhaust fan with temperature and Rh? That is not that easy. Ink bird does make a Rh temperature controller but it has 2 outputs one for each. So you would need to plug the fan into both outputs but then you’d be back feeding power into one or the other. And a male plug would be live which is a safety hazard. To avoid back feeding the controller and for safety I used a 4 pole double throw 120 volt relay With 2 normally open and 2 normally closed poles. If you don’t have a good grasp of electrical wiring I wouldn’t recommend doing this on your own, hire and electrician. Edit: I used a four pole four throw relay. This way I could break the hot and neutral in case I ever plugged into a device that was reverse wired.

cloudline is the fan you are looking for, it has rh and temp settings

It's easy wired, if you want it variable then a variac for Ac fans.

Have a look at Sonoff.

As mentioned in my post, I've looked into Inkbird and own 3 different models. I can do one or the other, but not both. What's a relay? Will I have to wire that cause I prefer a plug option

Yeah, wiring is definitely not my thing, but it does come down to one piece of equipment needing to be hooked up to 2 switches and having that somehow be safe...I guess I'll look into a relay or auto-switch of some kind.

I saw that! Do I have to have Alexa or will it work without a "smart" computer living in my house? The only issue with smart controllers is that there are two failure points...one is power and the other is wifi. If it works without wifi than I'd feel a bit safer.

Yeah, by AC infinity...I wish they just had a controller! The issue is that I need both the intake and the exhaust to kick on so I'd have to buy 2 and there's no guarantee they'd read the same temp / humidity based on location.

Why can't you plug both fans into the same controller? n/m noticed they are those particular fans.

Yeah. It's a "smart" controller for that fan... They're on the right track though!

The Titan Spartan "Basic" Environmental controller with temp/humidity locked would work, at like $250 it's cheaper than the $400 one that has the CO2 sensor.

The Autopilot Eclipse F60 is basically the same thing and about the same price.

...and the AC infinity does not allow for different day/night settings. Unfortunately.

For most 1 fan is sufficient.
Passive intake. Makes it easier.
You may not have that option.

Well kind off, a relay is only a electric switch you have to provide a live to one side of the switch, if you buy one and need help pm me but it's piss easy if your familiar with electrical diy.
