Do i really need links when im a hps grower who just went through a heat wave and when badgered posted pics of plants seemingly doing fine.
I mean any generic ppfd search on google explains the basics, is that too hard for a science geek like you?
I think too many give an opinion but there opinion is worth dick and there inability to even google some shows you need to keep calm and stick to the day job.
These are just a few simple basics im throwing around but still most struggle, when do we really get into the main issues and conclude this first grader stuff?

Well none really, who wants in on a market that spins more yarn than a woollen factory, a market that is 30% cheaper if you wait six months to a year, a market you need to diy flimsy crap and diodes together because the unit you really want is far too exspensive and your a cheapass, a market that makes you want to attack hos and cmh growers even though they are pretty cool guys, a market that bungs up the whole forum with purple pics (still look blurple to me) and an answer that involves you must having to buy one of the present members top three leds or basically you have a shit light.

Hey budz.
Obviously i would like to maximize yeilds.
Im growing in a 2×4×5 tent.
Canlite9000 carbon filter mated to a 176 cfm exhaust fan exiting the tent.
I use the 2 flaps at the bottom of the tent for intakes. And i have 2 clip fans.
Temps lights out, 18 to 24 lights on 27 to 30.
Humidity stays between 40 and 46%
In 3g smart pots.
Promix BX.
DNF A+B.
Calmag.
This is the panel on got hosed on.

HID : 400 watt should get you around 50 per sq/ ft .... Golden
Cons : heat and venting needs to be ironed out. Need Bulbs.
Quantum :
320 xl kit ... or even the 260 xl .
Lower heat issues , can be dimmable ( driver support ) , and expandable with more boards.
Lower profile to maximize tent height restrictions. No bulbs to buy ( hid ) or change .
Each SET of boards are Vf matched to each other. Simple build skills. QB will pull at wall what it is advertised at ... no bs.
Reach out to @robincnn and @Stephenj37826 for help.

I did an old MARS PANEL to QB based on @Growmau5 video he did with cobs.
It worked out better than I hoped and with the lousy 50 watt China driver , I used I got four plants growing well at only 50 watts In a 3x3 !
Mars “ 600 “ classic white panel - blurple led. ( pulled a lousy 255 at wall NOT 600 ... lol “ )
Gutted inside .... left fans and fan driver intact. Salvaged one of the 6 “ 50 watt drivers from inside.
Shitcanned the blurple led board - right to trashcan.
Mounted QB 304 ( 3500 k ) and wired to driver.
Repainted case in dark hammered finish .... look cooler.
Did not use glass cover - shitcanned that too.
End result :
It decimated whatever that stupid mars could ever do. Plus at a fraction of the power.
Onboard fans keep everything cool .... look at the temps . HLG sends stickers with their boards and I used one to finish the look.
I’m actually regularly scouring eBay and Craigslist for some junked MARS panels so I can build more.
