!!Need a little help with my operation!!

Hey everyone,

First time growing indoors. Just had a few questions maybe you all could help me out with.

Currently growing some blue dream, GSC, and mendo purp.

On week 8 from seed.

I'm running out of room in my tent. They are in 3 gal containers. I really want to transplant once I figure out sex. Then flower the females obviously.

Im running a 600 watt. I may replace with a 1000w when I flower. the tent is 5x5x7. I have 33 inches to from the top of the plants to the bottom of the light plus another 13 inches to the ceiling.

So I guess my questions are when are they going to show sex? It's been 8 weeks.
Do I need to flower now to avoid out growing the tent?
Would a 1000w light be over kill?
Should I transplant into 5 gal containers for flower?

Those have no signs of sex yet(or you need to look harder)you need to flip to 12/12 now or in the next week or 2. Those plants will double if not triple in size during flowering. Unless you can raise the light it will become a problem. I would also transplant them before you flip to flower.

Okay thanks. Would you throw the 1000w in there? I already have it just need to swap bulb and ballast.

I'm not disagreeing with calismokes , but I like the 600w , but if you can control the heat go for it.

Take clones of all the plants before flowering. Keep the female clones, and there ya go fur the next run
