need a lil help

let me start with the setup. 2'x3' ceder closet. have an intake for the central air system, over the door that i will turn into the exhaust for my grow. i will be using a 250 or 400 mh/hps for lighting with mylar on the walls. i will be using a 10 gallon tote that is painted black, for two plants. so my questions are


1. will the ceder cause any problem for the plants.

2. is the 250w going to be enough light sence it is a small room.

3. i have some orignal skunk#1 seeds from the ASB, are these good for beginners?

Imo you would love a 400w in that space. But you would need a cool tube along with your venting.

pardon my stupidity but what is a cool tube?

I'll show ya mine. It's a diy. you can get them premade with a hid set up. You push air threw the tube over the light and out of the grow area. takes most of the light heat away

i was thinking of this hps system {Econo 400w HPS with Chrome Reflector} with a fan blowing on it will that work. also can i use a mh from seed to veg?

MH is for veg hps for flower. If you get a 400w mh. you can get a hps bulb that will work with the mh balist. Your area is very small. Don't think you could do it without a cool tube. Before my cooltube I was in a 4x4x8 tall room and the 400w made the room very warm. Even with all the venting I had.
