Hi,
been a member of this site for a long while and been researching for even longer.
anywayz i thought it was time to get growing
.
orderd some seeds over a year or 2 ago, and i got the following:
2 feminised Blue Cheese. {mix and match seeds or sumthin i dont remeber}
5 feminised The church {Green House Seeds}
10 Big buds {Nirvana}
10 Shaman {Dutch Passion}
250 hps.
Nutrients : iconic grow A and B. and oxy-plus {10ml every day or 2}. nute. strength at 3/4 {30ml of A and 30ml of B}. ms reading 1.88-89 {i know it might be a bit much but they seem to be taking it in pretty well, no burn or anything so i think ill keep it like that {unless im doing sumthin stupid please tell me}.
Foiler spray : formulex {7ml per liter or water}
ph 5.6-.5.9
temp around 22-25
water temp unregulated.

So started off with just one church, 1 cheese and 3 bigbuds.
the big buds were very shitty and were taking ages to break the 1mm barrier not to mention that they took 3-4 days more than the church and BC to germinate, so i took them out and i tried to germinate others and they were the same so i guess it was a shity batch so i decided to get rid of them all, and instead introduced another blue cheese and church. and 4 shamans.
on the way i broke one shaman by mistake
. and a day or 2 later i broke another one. . and so on lol.
im not running the water 24/7 and i dont plan to so the cubes dont soak up and so the upper roots dont get flooded, i was running the pump 1nce a day for 2-3 mins, but now i started 2 times a day for 2-3 mins.
had some minor wind burn that i managed to sort out by turning the fan towards the sheeting so it doesnt blow directly.
yesterday i found a lil fkin bug in there with them, it was kinda like yellow and brown and looked like a spidermite tho im not sure, i checked the leaves and underside {not using mag. glass or anything} and there doesnt seem to be any eggs or webs or anything. but as a percaution i took the whole system out and i washed the inside and walls with water and disinfectant, let it dry n chucked them back in and it looks clean and sweet, no sign of other bugs or family and friends of that one.
i guess they are looking healthy tho im not sure obviously cuz im a nooby.
Alge grows a lil bit on the top of the cubes but everytime it starts spreading i take it out, then cover the area with rocwool flock and it seems to be working.
shamans exploded like crazy, started germing them 2 weeks after the church and blue cheese and now they look like they about to overtake them.
so please tips, tricks and comments are welcome.
