Nearing the end of flowering...

Just had one question... should it smell in my room or what? I have around 4 weeks left to flower and still no smell... does that mean that my buds are duds? any insight would be helpful.

nothing to worry about - different strains and different conditions can effect smell - has nothing to do with how good the bud will be.

yah.. i agree with d.r... some strains are just known to be super stanky and some are known to be not so much so.. my last grow was super skunk, and they had to be some of the skunkiest smelling plants i have ever smelled.. they smoked great and all.. but this grow, i grew dna's sour cream and th seeds mk ultra, and niether one of them had anywhere near the odor that the ss did, and they completely blew the ss away when smoked..

k... was just wondering... also I didn't mention but the crystal productions isn't very good as well... but then again it is just bag seed. I have a 26" White Skunk in the ending of wk1 flower. I think I should see a considerable amount more crystals on it. I will be starting a grow journal on it real soon (camera batteries died... and don't have a charger). But am I correct in assuming this? And wanted to verify as this is the first to finish out of 4 grows... I was told when I hang the plant do it root and all... are there any benifits or disadvantages to doing that?

better genetics = more thc = more crystals, so you should see more with your white skunk. that said, if you are looking at your plant without magnification the crystals are a lot more subtle than what you see in the close up pics here.

as for hanging the whole plant vs. cut - i can almost guarantee you that no one has done a side by side comparison so all you'll get is opinions without facts.

Your just now getting into the stink mode..

last 3-4 weeks is when you get the most bud growth, & smell.

Here is what it looks like now... this was a 12/12 from seed so it isn't that tall but it is the one that I have been talking about. Hope it looks about right.
