Shit! I never even knew there where other MMJ supporters around the area, or even about the bill! You guys seem like real soldiers for the cause as well, which I can really respect. If the bill gets passed, I am ready to help with the MMJ effort. :peace:

OK ppl I got a call from one of my lawyers last night , something to do with some loop holes in the existing MMJ laws in North Carolina . Hell I didnt know there where any but according to him there is . So I have a meeting with him today to look over these laws and hopefully I'll have some good news when I get back online today . I know Colorado's laws are getting all screwed up . Government wanting to step in and outlaw caregivers so they can cash in on the profits . Just like they did in Virgina .

Very interesting. I wasn't aware that MMJ was "technically" legal in Virginia...interesting little fact.

America’s first marijuana law was enacted at Jamestown Colony, Virginia in 1619. It was a law “ordering” all farmers to grow Indian hempseed. There were several other “must grow” laws over the next 200 years (you could be jailed for not growing hemp during times of shortage in Virginia between 1763 and 1767), and during most of that time, hemp was legal tender (you could even pay your taxes with hemp — try that today!) Hemp was such a critical crop for a number of purposes (including essential war requirements – rope, etc.) that the government went out of its way to encourage growth.

Thats what my lawyer was talking about today . According to him the laws where never abolished . Which means legally you can still grow hemp , problem being is how do they classify Indica and Sativa . If its not been reclassified as marijuana then you can by law still grow hemp.
Ruderalis is an industrial grade of hemp that has a very low THC count. Now this opens a whole new set of questions . If I cross ruderalis with a good high grade indica to produce and auto-flowering strain , What will this be classified as ?
Is it illegal to grow for the purpose of extracting the thc with a alcohol wash for the purpose of creating a medicine for terminally ill patience , if so how can the big pharmaceutical companies produce THC pills legally . Which are perfectly legal in all 50 states and can be purchased at any neighborhood wal-mart . Is it the fact that these pill contain no THC at all and are just bullshit sugar pills or some other form of poison to pump into our bodies so we have to buy other pills to curve the side effects .
This list goes on and on . After 4 hours my lawyer just looked at me and said he would look into this and get me the answers I'm looking for. So I have to wait again . This is the part of Politics I hate hurry up and wait

Hes some of the propaganda that they use to outlaw the devil weed Marijuana

Harry J. Anslinger
Anslinger was an extremely ambitious man, and he recognized the Bureau of Narcotics as an amazing career opportunity — a new government agency with the opportunity to define both the problem and the solution. He immediately realized that opiates and cocaine wouldn’t be enough to help build his agency, so he latched on to marijuana and started to work on making it illegal at the federal level.
Anslinger immediately drew upon the themes of racism and violence to draw national attention to the problem he wanted to create. He also promoted and frequently read from “Gore Files” — wild reefer-madness-style exploitation tales of ax murderers on marijuana and sex and… Negroes. Here are some quotes that have been widely attributed to Anslinger and his Gore Files:
“There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos, and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz, and swing, result from marijuana use. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers, and any others.”
“…the primary reason to outlaw marijuana is its effect on the degenerate races.”
“Marijuana is an addictive drug which produces in its users insanity, criminality, and death.”
“Reefer makes darkies think they’re as good as white men.”
“Marihuana leads to pacifism and communist brainwashing”
“You smoke a joint and you’re likely to kill your brother.”
“Marijuana is the most violence-causing drug in the history of mankind.”

Lawyers.
...lawyers will charge you an upright minium fee of 3 grand. If you wish for any single thing to come of it, rely on your time spent learning the facts. Fact, you definitely don't always get what you paid for...particularly in this arena.

Cannabis flower essential oil is produced exclusively from the flowering buds of Cannabis sativa plants by low-pressure steam distillation. It requires about 50 pounds of flowers to produce 1 ounce of pure oil. Cannabis flower essential oil is produced mainly in Switzerland, England, France, and The Netherlands. It is not produced in the United States. Because it is made from the flowers cannabis flower essential oil is not legal in the United States is considered to be "marihuana" in the Controlled Substances Act 21 U.S.C. 802(16). Products, like candies and lollipops, that are made with Cannabis flower essential oil are considered to be "marihuana" and are not legal.

Well Babs , I know the way Rick makes his works . I have seen the results this oil can produce . Hep-C is decease that's incurable by today's doctors so is lung cancer . I myself had hep-c till I started making and using this oil now no trace of this decease exist in my body and my sister-in law is getting healthier everyday using this cure .
I'm not saying facts aren't facts , but when I can see with my own eyes the results of this oil . I have to question the person doing the research more then facts their self . Most industrial base hemp oils are extracted from cannabis biomass not just the flowers . You can produce alot of thing with cannabis Biomass oil : gas , bio diesel , motor oil , detergents anything that is an oil base product . Its just so damn expensive to produce this oil . In my other post I have a good write up on Bio-fuels and using cannabis to produce these fuels .
