Yes! That's the Brain's Escape?
Oh yes. Those seeds I posted earlier are the offspring of my hermie Purple #1 and BE. I know most people don't like the idea of using intersex plants for breeding, and I know it's risky. But so far, brains escape is really stable. I've never had problems with her. I figure, I'll grow a few out in a few months, and if they end up being stable, then I'll have no problem sending a few seeds down your way.

Very interested in your test grow then. I'll be watching.

So, I've been slacking the last few weeks.

Sorry.

This happened last time, too. I spend so much time flushing and taking care of them towards the end, I take pictures, then I don't bother to post them.

I've harvested and jarred MTF, Brains Escape, and Orange Bud. NYCD was harvested a few hours ago, Afghooey A & S have reached the end of their flush, and will be harvested in a few days.

I'll get pictures added and a full update later. Just wanted to check in ;)

So, I could be lazy, and link to my photobucket, but I think you deserve to get more then a cheap copout like that. There's been a lot going on in the last few weeks, loots of flushing trimming and chopping. It takes a lot of time, and I just haven't taken the time to keep in touch here. I haven't let the photo's go, though. Still taking them!

Anyway, I figure I'll just flood my thread with update posts, a few at a time, to tell the story of the last few weeks.

Here's a few of Brainy, pre-trim & chop

after a haircut

trim complete! time to hang!

MTF, pre-tim & chop

Here's a shot of those leaves. It's hard to get the full scope of her leaf colors sometimes

After the haircut

Trimmed and ready to hang

MTF towards the front, BE in the back

Here's a shot of our jar of BE

a nice close-up

After sitting in the jars for a few days, BE is about ready to seal up, and weighs out to about 40 grams. The jar of MTF is rather disappointing, only 22 grams. I think that's about what we got last time, too. Time to evaluate her status in our garden. Either that, or try to grow her out differently. I still have a few in veg, so I might have to play with them.

More tomorrow, maybe the next day. Stay tuned. More to come :)

Impressive, Chairman - I'm glad I swung through. I like your drying box as well; could always use a few tips from experienced growers, as I'm always looking to improve drying and curing processes. Peace.

I'm far from experienced. This is only our second grow, and the first time, my wife was handling most of the care. I've handled almost everything this time. I had a hard time at first, because I didn't realize how much effort it took, but I've shaped up, and the girls certainly do show it.

The box idea was one of my wife's, we place it on top of the veg box while we're drying. It's pretty effective, and simple. And the best part, as soon as we're done with it, we can fold it up and store it away!
