the LED makers are famous for false graph and charts. anyone can put together an fancy looking chart on their computer with no data to back it up.unfortunately new growers fall for this kind of false and misleading advertising rather than doing their own research. nice looking bud by the way.

The best part about that graph comparison is the fact its comparing one 315w unit, 400w unit, 1000w unit. That alone should make you skeptical of graphs like that

I just wanted to post a quick update. So far im absolutely loving these lights. I just started to notice that some of the buds on the top part of the plants are starting to show some purple colors. My blueberry is beginning to show blueish tints . I've read how cmh can bring out natural colors in certain strains. These lights seem to be doing that exactly. Even some of the leaves ate starting to show purplish colors . I noticed someone on this thread posted a pic of there sunset sherbert that looked gorgeous and had so many colors. Anyone else experience this when switching to cmh

Hard to see the faint purples blueish tints but these buds are looking very nice. And beginning to reallly put off some nice terpenes

I did experience that effect on plant colors since you mentioned it, especially with bodhi's SSDD.

the fact that the chart Identifies one brand of LED grow lights and gives no information about other lights tested is a clear giveaway. a real scientist would recognize this as junk science based on this fact alone. we all know that natural sunlight is the best light for growing plants and CMH come closer to natural sunlight than any other HID or any LED on the market.with modern horticultural bulbs only T5s come closer but with large commercial grows other considerations may make CMH a better choice for large scale grows

I came after work and checked on the flowering tent . There is most definetly more and more purple calyxes on my Death Star Og. It'smuch to early to say if there's an increase in triches yet. Thats something that I probably won't really see the benefit of changing to cmh untill i do my full start to finish grow....but I will say this, I haven't been able to bring out any vibrant colors like purple , blue when running my 400w hps + 200w led. It's definetly impressive. Oh yeah...i decided to remove the two side plate reflectors lol. I just figured the light isnt as strong once its made contact with a surface and being reflected . I was thinking though during the summer time...i am not sure if i can run the 630w cmh in my tent ...it would be pushing 85 degrees easy. I don't want to have to revert back to hps and led but I remember a while back I bought this thing called a super spreader. Basically a heat shield the had a bunch of holes poked throuhh it. It was also suppose to help spread light evenly instead of having bleached tops directly under the light. It would let me get my hps within 12 inches during summer and actually would keep temps in the tent down about 2 degrees on avg. Possibly run two of them with my 630w. How do you cool your room or tent with your light setup during summers .?

I cool the room where my 4x4 tent and 2*3 closet (~630-960 CMH watts) with a 22000 btu AC during summer time, and on winter I fire up an additional 3x7 closet where I run ~ 800-1000 watts hps+led or cmh with no AC. Harvest would last me most of the year with a few Ozs given to close friends who would give me when I needed it without me asking for it

So you only harvest once a year? I have it set up where i harvest one plant a month and usually yield about 4 or 5 zips per plant . , I'm supposed to take clones and veg them by now but I got lazy.I've Green crack, Cherry Bomb, and Thc bomb that's been vegging for ~ 2.5 months in my 2 x 3, and will clone and flower in the 3 x 7 within 2 weeks if I feel like it.
In my 4 x 4 I'm currently flowering Golden tiger, Malawi, and zamaldica by Ace Seeds for about 6 weeks so far
, those sativas are very sensitive and burn easy.on a totally unrelated matter:
I came across a thread that talks about curing weed "Malawi style", where you tightly wrap your semi dried weed in corn cobb, sweat it, then vacuum seal it and age it.
I tried it and loved it, the best and smoothest weed I ever consumed, it took me back ~ 30 years to when I first started smoking hash
. The bad thing about it is you go through it fast.It was like moving from Hps to CMH

Is that Malawi strain the one that has the THCB or THCD. I can't remember exactly but back when I worked for a guy in his hydro garden he was growing Malawi I believe a mentioned theres basically no cap to how stoned you get lolI harvest at least 3 times a year, winter crop is the biggest
