Yes I welcome anyone's opinions.

I had this discussion with a friend of mine from Ethiopia. He LOVES America! He can't say enough good about it. He hates Trump and can't believe the stupid things he says, but America is the reason he has a better life and can now support his wife and kids -and he isn't on welfare or any assistance programs. He laughs when people complain about America and shakes his head and says, "Man, I should take these people to Ethiopia and show them how good America is!"

Perspective can totally mess with one's view at times -be it their view of the shape of the Earth, or be it their view of life on it. :)

You know, the more I read on this international forum, I see that there is an illness that goes beyond the zit on America's nose (aka Trump). Trump is just an idiot, but he's not the problem with the world. The problem with the world is that everyone thinks they know everything better than everyone else. Everyone is a teacher. No one is a student.

The option to tell the world who you are and what you believe and what you are an expert at, didn't even exist when I was growing up. I would have had to use a typewriter and mail letters for that! And to what end? People would have thought I was crazy to even waste the effort to try and make a discussion like this with total strangers. But, now, it's not even a second thought to start arguing and insulting the same total strangers! That's what's wrong with the world.
