NaDCC for slime prevention

I recently come by a report (http://plant-tc.cfans.umn.edu/listserv/1997/log9711/msg00145.html) about sodium dichloroisocyanurate and its use as a less phytotoxic alternative to sodium hypoclorite (bleach) as a sterilizing agent for tisue cultures. It is a chemical that, as I understand it, slowly releases chlorine and is normally used for drinking water pool water sterilization. I'm no expert, but it sounds to me as if it should, at a low enough doses, be as safe as ordinary chlorinated tapwater.

I was wondering, has anyone tried usung this chemical for killing or preventing root rot and brown slime in a hydroponic enviroment?

Poking a fossil here, but this kind of deserves an answer!
Also just so happened to pick 1kg of it as poolshock, partially to different uses aswell.
But im high and got curious.

C3Cl2N3NaO3 is the chemical composition for the sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC)
and NaClO for the commonly used sodium hypoclorite (bleach).
So just by these my highschool chemistry mind would say there's atleast better oxygen to sodium ratio :)

Went to ChatGPT while waiting oven to heat up:

NaDCC+H2O→Cl2+HOCl+NaOH

In this reaction, NaDCC dissociates in water to release chlorine gas (Cl2), hypochlorous acid (HOCl), and sodium hydroxide (NaOH). These substances are responsible for the disinfection properties of sodium dichloroisocyanurate.

Chlorine gas (Cl2) is a powerful disinfectant that kills bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms by disrupting their cell walls and interfering with their metabolic processes. Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) also contributes to the disinfection process by effectively killing pathogens.

The sodium hydroxide (NaOH) formed in the reaction increases the pH of the solution, making it more alkaline. This can also aid in disinfection by creating an environment less favorable for the growth of certain pathogens.

So all compounds seem relatively safe to me and plants in small enough quantities. Even NaOH is used as pH up.
But please if someone has better info on ppms or anything please share

To Simplify, just purchase (aq) Neutral AG-Anolyte HOCl made from 2 ingredients:
KCl (Potassium Chloride) & H20 (Water) which will Oxiginate & Fertilize

One must dilute the Neutral pH Anolyte 500ppm Horticulture/Agriculture Solution with Distilled Water 10:1 to achieve 50ppm, 12:1 to achieve 30ppm to flush her with ,,,& so on from 30ppm 1:1 for 15ppm / 6:1 for 5ppm .
Depending on your Grow method + medium & Watering method use 5-15ppm for irrigation (manual watering or irrigation) which will maintain your clean plant's root system & she will uptake water & nutrients properly
