gary seems to think that these men who are dressed in suits that cost more than his single wide trailer are in need of social assistance programs because of their skin color.
gary is pretty secretive, but we know he is a patriot, and that he likes using highway overpasses to convey political messages.
also, he is disgusted by racism.

nothing new about this. take a look at photos of everyday germany in the late 1930s. they were just normal, happy families going about their normal lives.
looking back, the banality of their evil is disturbing.
i wish to highlight the banality of evil in real time, as it happens.

literally ever single one of them likes some trump fan page or the other.
and every single one of them thinks they are just a normal, every day, hard working american who believes in common sense and hard work and eagles and patriotism.
they just wanted their america back. they are not bad people.

I'm trying to make the same point; this is what racism looks like today, as opposed to grainy black n wore pictures of people wearing funny clothes.
Nothing different about today's racism, save perhaps for the increased levels of fear and desperation in those who practice it.
