N00b gr0w/PiC....check it out and comment

Take a look at my thread in my signature, im using 2 CFL fish lights to grow 4 bagseed plants and im using MG potting soil too. Today is day 19 of the grow (since germinated seeds were planted) and it only took 3 days for me to germinate 5 seeds.

That's cool. Yeah mg seems to be workin fine lately. I just work then come straight home and check them out. Lol.

Looking good AZ, if you want to maximize your yield now would be a good time to top your plant. If you are unfamiliar with this technique, its when you cut the newest growth of the plant. Then the other two growths on the side will form two colas of bud! Look up the topping guide if you need to know how to do it, but its pretty simple, just cut the newest growth in the middle of those two center leaves with a pair of clean sterilized scissors, and thats it ! Of course if you do end up getting a female and you have two main colas, you will need more lighting, but you can worry about that later. Take a side shot for me and I will let you know what growth to cut.

From the guides I've read no, if it turns out male, you can get rid of it anyways and if its female you would keep it and get two main colas

HERE IS A SIDE VIEW BRO....EVERY MORNING I GET HOME IT SEEMS TO GET A LITTLE BIGGER. LOL. TOMMORROW WILL BE 3 WEEKS.

AND MY NEW BORN JUST POKED ITS HEAD OUT OF THE DIRT THIS MORNING ALSO. IM SO EXCITED TO WATCH IT GROW!!! MY FRIEND SAID THE SEED IS A CHRISTMAS BUD SEED...LOL...IDK IF THATS A REAL NAME.ANY ONE KNOW???? EITHER WAY ITS SOME GOOD SMOKE:blsmoke::blsmoke::blsmoke::blsmoke::blsmoke:

Okay, thnx for the pic. Do you see the top two leaves that haven't unfolded yet? There should be a new growth there, use a clean pair of scissors or a razor to cut that growth and those two leaves will become your two colas.
 
The plant is now topped. I did it yesterday. Lol. The plant is growing good. If I stand next to it I can smell it a little lol. I can't wait
 
You're doing well so far, I wish had this much help on my first grow. This is you first right?
With two plants you have a 75% chance of getting a female, so I would reccomend topping both, once your other one reaches the same height- around 3 weeks.

Hey what's up bro?? Lol. I've been busy lately and I'm kinda lost with the process of growth of my plant. I mean it's been growing for about like a month now I think. I've been keeping it in veg. But now I just bought two 42w cfl 2700k. For flowering. And put them on a 12/12. I'm at work right now. I will post pics when I get home. And the other little plant is looking good. Green and growin. Peace bro.
 
ok i finally got a chance to take some pics of the plants. the plant in the big pot is now about 28 days and the red cup is about 18 days. it seems like the older plant is not getting taller, i mean i leave the lights close enough for both to get light. the older plant i just started to flower it on may 5th. it is starting to look different like it should when put into flowering. i just hope it is a female. if not ill just rip it out and get some more potting soil and put the little one in. and i had a ? the older plant is sitting kinda deep into the pot as u can see in the pics. and i am wondering if its not enough room....and i was gonna go get some more soil but i have been hearing about that mg called african violet potting soil. do u know about it and if so is it good. and if it is good do u think the plant would freak out if i repotted it with that soil? lol and the other day i went into this dollar store we have around here and they sell alot of stuff and i was wondering around and found 2 or 3 gallon pots lol and there only a buck instead of going to wal mart or home depot and spending over $5...lol. savin money hahaha...and as for nutes should i buy some flowering food for it? if so what kind?

i like soil, my buddy is always fuckn with his dwc grow, i would do it also but im so busy and paying for all those nutes is crazy expensive. so soil for me lol

Allright, they don't look too bad. I have a few questions
How often do you water them?
How many watts of light are the plants getting?
If you're still using those same 2 bulbs, you need more light, get some warm cfl's (2700k) for your flowering plant.

I water them about every 2 days or whenever they look dry. I'm using that mg moisture control. So it holds water better it says. And I bought two 42 w 2700k lights. I can feel the temp difference a little. Today I went and bought two pots that are a little bigger and have extra drainage holes. And also bought another bag of that mg. So I'm gonna put the little plant into one of the new pots.
 
hey whats up guys check this out!!!

today i repotted the little plant into a bigger pot. and added a little more soil to the older plant...i got the new pots from a dollar store that sells alot of stuff lol. they are a good size and have 4 drain holes.

also today while i was shopping around i found this little bottle of liquid fertilizer flowering food..lol..it basically just sits in the soil upside down and slowly feeds the plant for about 15 days.

now the back of it has the NPK info which is N-0.007 P-0.015 K-0.010 now im not sure if this will help, do u?

and the potting soil im using is miracle grow: moisture control, and that NPK is N-0.21 P-0.07 K-0.14, so let me know if these two together will help???

also thats the only kinda stuff imma put into it for now and the liquid flower fertilizer will be going into the older plant since its in flowering for the last 3 days...

please let me know guys and gals...any help or info will be great and i will give +rep!!!!! thanks.....
