N loading in 12/12 DWC

Hello,
I'm a newby and about to start my first RDWC grow using 6 five gallon bubble buckets. I'll be getting my rooted clones on monday and I'm trying to plan every thing in advance. Been lurking an searching for a while and will be using Lucas Formula with FloraNova bloom. 1K HPS +250W HPS. I have a few questions. First I have read that nitrogen loading in the first week of flowering can improve yeild: should I start veg. in bloom nutes ala lucas and switch when I begin 12/12 or just use grow from the start then switch? Also how long should I let the ladies grow before swithing on the 1000w light? (I'm planning to start off with the 250).

I've been growing in dirt and soil less media for 20 years and I'm really interested in dwc as a more precise growing technique. The state of MT voters passed our MM law by 60% and now Obama's AG has said no prosecution so why not try something new. I'm a lifelong chemistry dork (now prof organic chemist) and the ph and concentration control appeals to me. The lucas formula seems very simple and efficient and I just want to make it as effective as possible. So if anyone has any insight I"d really appriciate it.

Thats a beautiful little lady you have there. I'm just waiting for monday when my rooted clones 3x Bubba Kush and 3x white widow are delivered by my provider..Its like a dream 25 strains to choose form with no sneaking around.. I'm new to this bubble bucket stuff and can't find definite answers to my questions...just like the internet too god damn much information. so I thought I'd ask people who know.
