My first comment would be...why build a cabaninet in th traditional sense? Unless you have to be uber discreet, just build a stick frame out of 2x2 and then staple a bunch of panda 2 it. It's light tight, cheap, and doesn't hold heat like wood or drywall. It's also easy to cut new holes for fans or vents and seal old holes.
