Anybody using this product? I bought it expecting it to be a powder but it’s pretty solid, breaking up into granuals kind of like peppercorn size.

I'm guessing that OP is asking if it was powdery to begin with then solidified.

Ok gotcha, Yes that product comes in that form, they are time release granuals for top dressing!

It’s better to mix it through your medium as needs to make contact with roots system and will do that quicker than top dressing

Wow some bigass chunks of myco but it should work. It looks like innoculant granules; just sprinkle some in the hole at transplants. You are right though the myco xtreme I use is much finer than this. Wonder why it's not to be sold in the US?

I notice that as well. I think I read somewhere it’s just now being sold there. I did an experimental transplant a few days ago. It was too early so I damaged some roots but I did throw a few granules in the hole. So far no sign of distress. We’ll see if they take off

Grow ya own if you have supply issues its very simple

I use the soil under my Lemon tree as the place I grow mine
later ID'ed by the smell rather than the white stuff thats too small
good luck

You can gather mycon by burying uncooked rice in a cheese cloth about 10” deep in a decent healthy forest leave it about a month or so

If you're in a healthy forest you can scrape the top layer of plant material off the soil and there will be mycorrhiza growing that you can harvest and mix into your soil.

Just for kicks I just went out to my backyard and flipped over a piece of wood. This is what I found. Mycorrhiza that can be used to inoculate your soil.

Thats awesome have never been able to find any like that but my rice thing works for me I just gather the rice after a month or so then brew it in molasses and water use it to spray everything I grow works great

Where I live there must be about twenty cheese cloths with rice in buried where I have had a smoke before hand and can’t remember where lol

I’ve brewed fungal dominant teas before by growing fungi on top of compost before brewing but wanted to compare to the powder for transplant

Kinda new to organic growing but I hooked for sure trying lots different things at the moment just potted some clones up 1 in mykos 1 in plant magic 1 white shark 1 with nothing all in super soil interested to see the out come

Very cool. It’s fun experimenting. I just transplanted seedlings into 4” pots with a cover crop fed with fungal tea. Not sure if that’ll be too much organic matter in there but I guess we’ll see

There is a reason that the primary ingredient in both Fox Farms Ocean Forest, Happy Frog, and many other organic soils is forest humus. It's teaming with good stuff and mycorrhiza.

I’ve considered taking a few buckets into the forest with me to collect some amazing soil. It’s a wonder more people don’t. I understand it would be fungal dominant but adding bacteria would be simple

you are collecting buckets of soil but gardeners will see it as samples of innoculants dominate in bacteria and fungi

which is which comes with expeirence good luck
