It's got a little purple on the bottom of the leaves, I've read this is phosphorus. Anyone know if it's too much or too little? Which part of GH Flora will offer more/less when I do a res change? This is a DWC setup and the water level is about a 1/2-3/4 inch below the rockwool cube with 2 long air stones in the res.

most seedlings will have the under sides purp, mine had them up to 4 weeks old but were very healthy and green and growing fast, the purp can be caused by to little phos though, just look at your labels and see witch oe has the highest percentage of phos

I wouldn`t go messing with them but the Bloom contains about 7x as much P as the Grow, there`s none in the Micro. If you`re using phosphoric acid ph-down you will have plenty of P in the mix..

I'm using the GH Hydro pH control kit, not sure if it's the P-Acid or not. The plant seems to be doing very well, it's obvious that it has new growth daily.

400 wat MH since two days ago. It was getting a 400 watt HPS but seems like grow a LOT quicker under MH. I'm still not sure if it will produce fruit under MH or not though. Anyone?

Cool, I've got an HPS setup as well just wasn't sure if I should use it or not. I picked up 2 65 watt CFL 2700k bulbs for a little red light on the plant as well but nothing too much. shooting for ~3:1 ratio.

It seems to love it's nutrients and such, it grows a good bit daily.

Has anyone ever goten two sprouts from one seed? I planted a pepper seed in some rockwool and I now have TWO plants coming out of it???

New growth! There is even more now, but these are the pics I have.

We are in the efforts of building a table garden on the back deck as well. We are broke (just out of) college students trying to move to Denver next spring so it may take a bit of time to get it together and running haha. I plan on growing kale, spinach, and lettuce for some fresh winter salads!

The plan has blown up the last few days. It's pretty exciting! I plan on changing nutes tomorrow as per usual. I may start another (6) 3" NetPot setup I have for some lettuce and peppers.

That last picture I posted is funny now haha. I have a big plant now, 18 inches i'd say. I'm on week three of veg with full nutes but i'm not sure what comes next! Do I switch to a bloom cycle and HPS for 12/12 like cannabis growers do or do I leave it vegging under 18/6 MH?

I have loads of full yellow flowers which I believe are female blooms and a good bit of hanging yellow flowers not in bloom, I believe these to be male. Should a fan blowing over the light hood and on to the plant (pretty strong) be enough to pollinate or do I need to do more?

What needs to be done now that I am blooming and want to see fruit? I have googled with no luck. Any steps to take would be appreciated!

i would not go 12/12 mine bloom outside when the light was around 16/8 and the days are getting shorter now. a fan will help pollination, buti would paint them with a paint brush, i did this outside even just to ensure it. if they are blooming now then in a few weeks their whould be fruit starting

They bloomed this time last week so hopefully I will see some this time next week or so. I actually got a 3 dollar electric toothbrush and will be using it against the medium sized branches on the bush to "buzz" the flowers as a bee would. I read a couple places that this would work well.

I'd say I have 15-20 blooms right now.

I try add variety to my herb garden, and ive done plenty of different tomatoes. What I like to do with my tomato plants, and you dont have to do the same at all, is to keep them vegging for about two to three weeks from clone; just until they get a nice set of roots. After that, the plant is in a flowering cycle (12 hours full darkness) pretty much its entire life. Once i pick the tomatoes, i go back into veg for about two weeks or so, and then go back to flowering. I dont suggest this with other varieties, but tomatoes seem to handle it very well in my opinion. Have fun mister :)
