My sticky fingers!

I haven't seen anyone post about this so I'm asking. What the heck am I supposed to do with my sticky fingers? I'm harvesting and my fingers get soooo sticky. I hate wearing gloves so that's a bad option. I tried rubbing olive oil on my fingers before I trim but it just wears off after 5 minutes. I tried rubbing them together to get it off and smoke it but it takes forever and it's not very effective. Any suggestions? (keep it clean guys!)

hand lotion.

glob a bunch on your hands. rub it all over for a minute. then wipe it all off with a paper towel. do not rub it in. i have found that the lotions with aloe work best.

when your done, take some olive oil and rub it all over until your hands are warm, then either eat it, or wash your hands off with soap and warm water.

hand sanitizer will dissolve it .

I read somewhere also that you can use non powdered latex gloves, freeze 'em when you're done and be able to peel off the resin in a couple of hours.

That sounds like a very good idea..........but, booooooo! I used to be a hairdresser and I couldn't stand wearing gloves even though the chemicals were killing my hands. I guess it's like what it feels like for a guy to wear a condom. I couldn't really feel what I was doing.

if u use gloves then u can take all the resin off the gloves

even if u hate wearing rubber gloves suck it up itll be worth it

Hand sanitizer gel works great, like Purell or whatever. I don't know where it goes, but it sure takes it right off, lol.

It irritates me more when the scissors start sticking together than getting sticky fingers does. I hate trimming and do a half ass job of it usually.

thats what i do except i use a shtiload and wipe it off with a towel because it doesnt go anywhere otherwise, your just more evenly coating your hands with it.

oh man, i just don get these posts... i love trimming. and when the scissors start sticking i love it even better because that means i get to smoke another ball of scissor hash!trimming is a labor of love, how can you spend so much time and effort growing beutiful buds and the trim them halfassedly? i equate that to working your ass of to get a models body and wearing a burlap sack because its easier to get dressed.

it's not fun but I try to do a good job. Have you seen those autotrimmers? They look like they must knock a lot of the good stuff off.

never seen one used. only pics but they do seem like they would beat up the buds. I could be wrong though.

use hairspray lol the solvent in the spray disolves it and the binders make it clump up works really well i wouldn't smoke it though

The dispensary that I work with won't use any medicine that has been put through one of those things. They taught me how they like it.

Most of what i grow is for personal use only so the trim job isn't really that important. Top grade weed seems pretty rare around here so the little that I do sell they don't care how it's manicured cause it is real good weed. If I were ever to go "commercial" I'd do a good job on the trim. As it is now It's just not worth the extra effort when I factor in the Lazyness equation.

I totally understand. I wish I could just do veg all the time. I don't like the second cycle.

Use anything with oarnge oil in it

man... you should wear gloves... the thing u get on your fingers = High Percent Thc... when you smoke it .... its 10x better then Hash... when you harvest... use latex gloves..and when u got alot of that resin on ure finger u put it in refrigerator so its easier to remove it from glove. then smoke this!

Rubbing alcohol. On tools also.
