My SS ingredients so far. What else?

Im a SS noob but have done countless hours of research and without paying super-high shipping costs, these are the products im able to easily get.

My base will be Premier sphagnum peat moss. NO additives.
Worm castings
Bat guano
dolomite lime
perlite
compressed coco
manure
blood and bone meals
Humic acid
Azomite

Im sure I need more, Subcool has a hell of a list. But Im limited on what I can get. Also, I have some powdered AN piranha and tarantula and a little liquid voodoo juice left. Will that work to add to the mix for benes?

After a few more hours of research, my list appears to be mostly complete. But will the piranha, tarantula and voodoo juice work for adding beneficial bacteria to the mix?

I can only get kelp meal on ebay. Which would be best- Dr. Earth 0.6-0.5-2.5/ Espoma npk not listed/ Algamin 1-0-2/ Wegeners 1-0.15-1.5 or the cheapest unnamed OMRI certified 1-0.15-2?

I switched from epsoma to neptunes harvest and really do like it better.
Buy in bulk and save on shipping, I usualy do 20lb orders and it not that bad.

Where do you order this? I didnt see any kelp meal by them on ebay.

Espoma is off the list anyways.

Algamins on top until I get more input on other brands.

All I use for a base, actually all I've ever used for well over 30 years. Never have bought a bagged mix, not even Pro Mix.

Have only used Premier in all that time except for a couple of occasions. Premier is the best, by far.

How many cf will i need to how many bales of peat moss? I can get the 0.31 cf bags of MG perlite at Home depot or walmart for $4 a bag. Thats the biggest I can find aside from ebay.

You'll go broke buying that. 4cf here cost ~$17. That MG would be over $50 for the same amount.

Check out building supply places, perlite is also used as insulation (poured into the cavities of concrete blocks). Perhaps a real lumber yard or real deal contractors supply place.

I mix by eye, but I would guess I use ~3cf of perlite +- to a bale of peat moss (3cf). Almost 50/50 or 50/40. I've never really calculated or measured. When one or the other gets low, I pick up another.

You'll really need to find a local or nearby source for the perlite. The MG is too expensive and a 4cf bag is too bulky to ship ($$$$$$).
