my setup

first time growing and wonder what kind of results will i get with my lighting, starting from ice seeds in hydro, 4 plants. i will post pics as i set things up.

18/6 veg
16x 23 watt 2700k CFL
250 watt MH

12/12 flower
16x 23 watt 5000k CFL
270watt super agro HPS

also what where should i locate my fresh air intake and exhaust vents? intake up top and exhaust closer to the floor?

not sure if its a typo, but you'll want to use your 5000k cfls for veg and 2700k for flower. you've got it the other way around.

also, since heat rises naturally, you'll want your exhaust up top and intake near the bottom. if possible, you'll also want 2x the exhaust as the intake, so if you can get 3 fans, use two to draw air out and one moving air in. the negative pressure is the best way to minimize heat. if you were to do it the other way with more intake, then temps would get out of control within minutes as air moves in and becomes heated by the lighting but can't escape quick enough.

BTW that's a ton of light. go easy when they're seedlings.. maybe only 1-2 5000k cfls each for the first week or so.
