So are you just hoping that their female? So in a sense, this could be all for nothing if there all male?
Thats the only thing that confuses me about growing, male/female thing and when to do the 12/12 cycle, and what to do before the 12/12... Like a 17/7?

Yea, i planted 4 hoping at least 1 female. If i get 2 females, i'll do a scrog with soil, but if i get one i'll do cloning, thats pretty much how i'm judging the future of these guys.
12/12 cycle is for flowering, it shouldn't be done for at least 4 to 6 weeks of veging.. you need to give it a good 16 to 18 hours of light until then. don't rush em.

Ah, so you can just have a timer on to go on 16 off 8, then once they've been planted for about 5 weeks , then you can turn the lights off for 12 on for 12. Or black paper bag if outside? Also, once there ready for harvest, how exactly do you do it, Just go in there and cut ALL the leaves off carefully without pulling the bud apart? That kinda confused me too. Keep us updated with pics!

and when i said they immediately took to the soil....
